Milwaukee Brewers

Wade Miley (-140)

Miley has thrown at an extremely high level through nine starts this season. Overall, he owns a 2-2 record with a 2.18 ERA. He also has allowed three or fewer earned runs in each of his nine starts, although one was cut short with an injury. He gets a matchup against the ice cold Pittsburgh Pirates, who are averaging 1.2 runs per game over the last week. They’re an offense that has also struggled more against left-handed pitching this season. The Milwaukee Brewers, on the other hand, have performed well at home this season, where they own a 60.3% win rate. They have also found plenty of success recently, scoring a total of 16 runs in their last home series. Joe Musgrove has thrown well this season, but his 4.17 xFIP and 4.15 SIERA suggest he’ll see regression through the remainder of the season.

Bet 2 units on Milwaukee -1.5 RL to win 3.1 units (+155)

Arizona Diamondbacks

Zack Godley (-170)

Godley has been a dominant option at home this season. Through 12 games (11 starts), he owns a 6-2 record with a 3.33 ERA. Tonight, he gets a good matchup against the Seattle Mariners, who have been struggling to score runs recently. Godley should see plenty of run support tonight, as Arizona is averaging 4.6 runs per game at home. They also get a matchup against Erasmo Ramirez, who owns an 0-2 record with a 5.49 ERA through four starts this season. Ramirez’s ERA also balloons to 6.75 on the road, although he has had limited starts this season.

Bet 2 units on Arizona -1.5 RL to win 2.4 units (+120)

Houston Astros

Dallas Keuchel (-180)

It’s difficult to trust Dallas Keuchel, but has has allowed three or fewer earned runs in eight of his last nine starts, including five games with one or fewer earned runs. He has also been a slightly better option on the road this season. He gets a solid matchup against the Los Angeles Angels, who have struggled against left-handed pitching, and will be without Justin Upton, who is one of their best hitters against lefties. The Houston Astros are finally playing with a relatively healthy offense, and they are averaging 5.0 runs per game over the last week. They are also at their best when they are playing against left-handed pitching on the road. That will be the case tonight, as Andrew Heaney will take the mound for Los Angeles. He has been struggling a bit recently, recording a 3-2 record with a 4.99 ERA over his last 10 starts. He has also allowed three or more runs in four of his last five starts.

Bet 4 units on Houston -1.5 RL to win 3.6 units (-110)
