Value:

Kiké Hernández: My favorite value bat of the day comes from the Boston Red Sox. Kiké Hernández is coming over from the Dodgers and he will have an opportunity to play an everyday role with the Sox. The expectation is that Kike will lead off. Kike historically has been exceptional versus lefties. John Means is not your typical opening day starter.

Carlos Santana: Carlos Santana is underpriced on DraftKings for his current role. Santana will hit third for the Royals and they have an awesome matchup with over a 5 team total. Santana hits for better power from the left side. Santana will be a core piece for me tomorrow which allows me to get to some more the more expensive pitching/hitting options.

Studs:

J.D Martinez: The Red Sox lineup is not as dominant as it once was, but they still have the lefty masher in Martinez. Means is a guy we want to attack this slate. Means was awful in spring training giving up 15 earned runs across 19 innings. I expected the Red Sox to be popular and for good reason.

Mookie Betts: Coming off a World Championship, the Dodgers get a tasty matchup in Coors versus the Rockies to start the year. With a team total over 6 and an over/under of 11, this is a game you want to attack. Cold weather is moving in on the East coast and Midwest. It is expected to be 70 degree tomorrow in Denver. In this temperature I expect the Dodgers to perform well and it all starts with Mookie Betts at the top of the order.
