MLB DFS 4/18/22 – FanDuel Value Plays

Welcome to our MLB DFS Optimizer Overview, DraftKings and FanDuel picks for 4/18/2021! In this article, I’ll break down the top overall value plays for today’s main slate according to our Saber Sim Optimizer. Last year was an extremely big year for the Karma team in MLB, and we are looking to continue that success in 2022. I will be providing Core Plays for every main slate this season — you can gain access to that as well as our premium discord here. You can also try out the Core Plays package with a $5 daily pass. Let’s get to the plays…

PITCHER

Sean Manaea
There really isn’t a decent value pitcher I like tonight. I think majority of the DFS industry will be on Manaea. And there is good reason. Cincy has a 25% K rate vs lefties. Manaea I feel is still cheap on fanduel.

CATCHER/FIRST BASE
Seth Brown
I like a lot of Oak bats today. Baltimore pitching has been some how decent but still, I will attack them.

Sean Murphy
Oak bats have been hot. I am going to keep riding this train.

Luke Voit
I feel like since this is a Coors slate, and a few other teams in decent spots. Padres will get over looked. Lodolo got lit up by the Guardians. Padres righties are in play.

SECOND BASE

Tony Kemp
Leading off as of now. Check closer to lock. But, I like him here and he can steal some bases as well.

Ha-Seong Kim
I don’t write him up much, and he should be starting since a lefty is on the mound. Check closer to lock for lineups. But I love Padres righties tonight.

Michael Chavis
I have no issues attacking Brewers pitching tonight. And Pirates bats have been surprisingly well to start the season. Very good upside here for his price

THIRD BASE

Not much value here at 3rd base.

Sheldon Neuse
Another top value play on the optimizer. Like mentioned before, attacking Baltimore pitching.

Taylor Ward
Trout is DTD. Ward has been hitting well last 2 games. Projected to hit from the 2 spot. He has some potential upside.

Johan Camargo
Not many value plays for the Coors game. But his projection on the optimizer has him pretty high. Worth a shot for some gpp value.

SHORTSTOP

Didi Gregorius
Another value play for the Coors game. He has the homerun potential. If not, drive in some runs so the upside is there.

Gavin Lux
Check closer to lock for a starting lineup. But not much I have to say about Lux. He has been great for the past couple games. I don’t mind attacking Braves pitching staff for Gpps.

Willy Adames
One of the few Brewers bats that has been doing well. He’s decent vs right handed pitchers as well.

Tyler Wade
I like lefty batters for the Angels tonight. Close to min price. A couple hits, or runs driven in. The upside is there.

OUTFIELD

Jose Siri
Check for confirmed lineups closer to lock. But at min price vs the Angels/bullpen. He def has the upside to crush value tonight.

Bryan Reynolds
Once again, no issues attacking Brewers pitching right now. I can see a homerun out of him tonight.

Seiya Suzuki
Watch for weather. But he has been good. Wind is blowing out to left. Tampa pitching hasn’t been great. The matchup for Suzuki is good.

Brandon Marsh
Another Angels lefty who has the homerun upside. Projected to hit out of the 5th spot. I’ll have some shares of him.

Frank Schwindel
Another Cubs player who has the home run upside. I will be running a full 4 man cubs stack on Fanduel to free up some salary to pay up other ways.
