Top Pitchers
Eury Perez
This guy has been on another level latey! Perez gets a date against the slumming Pirates and it’s a solid matchup. Eury is striking batters out 29% of the time while allowing an xBA of .209 and a xwOBA of .294. Very solid numbers for a new and upcoming pitcher. Pittsburgh has been rather cold on the offensive side of things for about a week now. Still pretty cheap at only 8.5K on Draftkings. Eury also sports a whiff rate over 30%, there isn’t much to not like about the kid. Perez comes in as one of my favorite pitching options on the slate!
Tyler Glasnow
Things looked a little shaky in his last start but I do love this matchup. Tyler is usually a 10k priced pitcher but due to his poor performance we gt him at 8.9K whihc is a nice discount. I expect a big comeback performance here against the Royals in Tampa. One of the things that has stayed consistent with him is striking out batters where is at a 30.5% rate of the year. Glasnow also has a whiff rate just south of 35% so we know he can strikeout batters. The Rays are heavily favored to win this game and I think we see Tyler pitch 6-7 innings and grab a win on top of it all. I have no issues with Cole if you would rather use him, he is just really expensive for the matchup.
Building Blocks
Bo Bichette
Toronto has one the best matchup’s on the slate against Medina and Oakland. Bo has been on fire recently with 13 hits in his last 10 games. Medina has looked awful and should get lit up here today. The one pitch Bo might have a little trouble with is his Slider but Bo will eventually get back on track with that pitch as hes xBA and xwOBA are both muhc higher than what they actually are at right now. Toronto is actually a somewhat hitter frinedly park as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes yard but Bichette is more of the kind of guy who gets doubles on the regular and brings runners in. In torunaments, he is the perfect one off as a whole stack should be pretty popular today/
My favorite stack for today is going to be The Blue Jays against Medina! Other teams to stack that I am interested in are The Braves and The Orioles!
