Welcome to another MLB DFS Game Theory for the 2021 Season! This year we have a good amount of overlap between the NBA & MLB season, so lots of money to be made. This article will highlight my top plays at each position, and in the analysis portion of the article, we will highlight my top pitchers and stacks for the day.

Pitching: This slate is pretty big and there’s a lot of different ways you can go tonight. We have Jacob DeGoat in Coors, and Max Scherzer at home vs the Diamondbacks. I really like DeGrom in any park really, he’s one of the best pitchers in baseball right now, and although the weather might be pretty cold, I think DeGrom is still going to be one of my favorite pitchers on both sites tonight. There’s a lot you can do in terms of mid tier value pitchers in Montas and DeScalfani, but I think I want to pay up tonight for DeGrom.

Top Stacks:

Mets- They are obviously priced up since they are in Coors but I think that the lefties here are prime, Nimmo, Conforto, Lindor, Dominic Smith, McNeil, try to get at least 2 of them tonight. I want to try to jam in 3 but with DeGrom it might be hard.

Rangers- I love this stack tonight, I’m gonna go all in on the lefties here with Gallo and Dahl, and I love throwing in Kiner-Falefa or Nick Solak to round it out. Gallo is my bomb call of the day!

Athletics- They face Jose Urena who has shown some glimpses of being a semi-decent pitcher but still lacks something special to get him to the next level. He should try to pound the strike zone but the Athletics bats are off to a somewhat decent start to the season, so I would want to prioritize Olson and Chapman here along with Canha if he leads off.
