Welcome to another MLB DFS Game Theory for the 2021 Season! This year we have a good amount of overlap between the NBA & MLB season, so lots of money to be made. This article will highlight my top plays at each position, and in the analysis portion of the article, we will highlight my top pitchers and stacks for the day.

Today’s pitching is the polar opposite of yesterdays. We have two of the best pitchers in the game tonight, in DeGrom and Glasnow. I definitely want Glasnow tonight, he’s looked great and the leash is a lot longer as he starts to get back to peak form. If he keeps this up, expect a Cy Young type year from him. I love this matchup, his SwStrk rate is insane, his numbers across the board have been stellar. This is definitely a spot where the value is there to fit him in along with my top stacks below. I would pay up at P today.

Top Stacks:

Coors: Of course you have to pay up here for the bats as well, since we have Coors on the slate. The Phillies face Marquez who is probably the Rockies best pitcher but in all honesty there will always be runs on the board when it comes to playing in Colorado. I think you play some Phillies but focus on the Rockies who I think win tonight and put up 7+ runs. On the Phillies side: Hoskins, Harper, Realmuto, on the Rockies side, Blackmon, Story and McMahon. There is a lot of value to fit these guys in tonight.

Athletics- I love this team as a low owned stack, I think that the upside here is pretty nice as well. I want to focus on Lowrie and Olson in particular. There’s a ton of value today, we got guys like Zach Short and Pavin Smith at the top of the order and near min price. Fit in those guys and Glasnow with Coors and you should have a great night.
