Welcome to another MLB DFS Game Theory for the 2021 season! This year we have a good amount of overlap between the NBA & MLB season, so there is lots of money to be made. This article will highlight my top plays at each position, and in the analysis portion of the article, we will highlight my top pitchers and stacks for the day.
Top Pitchers:
4 game slate tonight that features one of the games being a double header (7 innings only.) Keep an eye out for the starting lineups for that game because we should see it soon. I think tonight you have to play Trevor Bauer in all formats because of the pitching options. He will be a staple in every single one of my lineups tonight, but I think it is SP2 which will set you apart. Everyone will try to play Bauer and fit in as many Dodgers as they can, and use the Nationals value to fit everyone. You can fit Hendricks in today with Bauer and punt a few positions, but I am going to be a little dicey and roll Berrios here at home vs the Astros. This saves you $900 and on a slate like this it matters a lot. I want to get as many Dodgers as I can tonight and there is a decent amount of value since the pitchers aren’t priced so high. I am full fading the Rangers bats but on a four game slate you can get interesting with power bats like Gallo for example, that could be a one off even if you play Bauer. Ultimately, I want Bauer/Berrios in cash with value bats of Larnarch and Schwarber as key staples.
