Welcome to another edition of Sriracha’s MLB Game Theory. In this article, I will outline my favorite plays at each position for MLB’s Thursday Slate. You can find all of Karma’s staff cores through our MLB Premium Package . Without further ado, here’s my favorite plays at each position.

Slate Thoughts:
- In cash I like Lamet/Bundy as the chalk pitchers. Lamet might have a shorter leash than Bundy but both these pitchers have elite upside and their matchups are the best on the board. For GPPS I love Bieber and Matz. Bieber gets the Twins which are the hottest team in the MLB thus far, as they have a .385 wOBA and a .300 ISO against RHP. However, they still have a strike out percentage of 26.5 against RHP. Matz gets the Red Sox who have struggled lately, and he had a stellar first start. These are my 4 pitchers I’ll be using today across all formats.
- For bats, I’m gonna keep it simple here and just go over my top 3 stacks- Yankees, Royals, and Angels. I’m going to be focusing my lineups around these 3 teams, as I like their matchups- Yankees get Means and that trash Baltimore bullpen, who they beat up on yesterday. I would love to try to get 4 Yankees here centered around Judge and Stanton. The Royals are very underpriced vs Nova who hasn’t had any K ability and struggles to miss bats. Angels are my 3rd favorite team, centered around Trout/Rendon/Fletcher. Gonzales will struggle against these righties and the Angels should be the lower owned stack out of these 3.
