Guard

Dejounte Murray

We start Tuesday’s huge slate off focused on the Atlanta Hawks, who will be playing without All-Star Trae Young tonight. Murray has been a fantasy cheat code since joining the Hawks when Young misses time. This season, Young has missed six games and Murray has topped 40+ DK points in all six of those games. His DK point per minute rate jumps to over 1.3 with Young off the court and he has a much higher ceiling as well. Utah is one of the best match-ups for Murray as well, they play extremely fast but have been a bottom-five defensive unit this season. Overall, Murray should be $10,000 with no Young and he’s the top-overall play on the slate.

Bogdan Bogdanovic

Bogdanovic doesn’t see the same per minute boost that Murray does with Young off the court — but he’s going to be counted on for a bigger offensive role tonight. We have him projected for 34 minutes tonight against a bottom-five defensive team. Despite Young and Onyeka Okongwu being out, this game still features the second-highest total on the slate while the Hawks are projected for 120 points by Vegas. I’ll likely be building my teams with 3+ Hawks players on Tuesday night.

Forward

Kyle Kuzma

Washington faces off against the Golden State Warriors tonight, while most will be focused on the Jordan Poole revenge game — I think this is a prime Kuzma spot. Deni Avdija has already been ruled out again for the Wizards which opens up even more shot attempts for Kuz. On top of him missing this game, Kuzma has been thriving with Poole on the bench over the last few games. His usage rate increased almost 4% with Poole shifting to the bench and he has topped 45+ DK points in two of his last three games since the decision to bench him. He is still underpriced for how much he does offensively with Avdija off the court and I like him in all formats tonight.

Usually I try to write up a balance of spend-ups and value plays. The mid-range is particularly strong on Tuesday night so I’ll be looking at more balance builds as opposed to stars/scrubs. For now, my favorite value options on DraftKings are Cam Johnson, Vasiliji Micic and Taylor Hendricks.

Center

John Collins

Collins has a #REVENGE game against his former team tonight, and it’s a very strong match-up. As noted above, this game owns the second-highest total on the board at 238 and with the spread separated by less than three points we can expect it to be competitive throughout. Atlanta serves up the third-most fantasy points allowed to PF’s per game this season, and Collins should be motivated against the team that traded him. We have Collins graded out as a top-five value at his position tonight and I think he is one of the best mid-range plays on both sites.
