QUARTERBACK :

High Tier:  Matt Stafford ($6100 – DK ) –
The total here for the Lions is massive.  Yet, we’re looking at sub-10% ownership on Matt Stafford.  The volume should see an uptick here with Kerryon Johnson going down and the Lions turning to their backup in the run game.  Stafford is a player you want to pair with multiple pass catchers as we won’t often see one receiver catch all 4 TD’s from him (see Marvin Jones week 7).  However, Marvin Jones is going to be one of my core stacks with Stafford this week along with Kenny Golladay who is one of my top WR options on the slate.

This game has sneaky shootout potential and I love getting a ton of Stafford exposure given his ownership getting lost in all the hight team totals this week.

Mid Tier: Matt Ryan ($6000 – DK ) – Chalk Matty Ice failed this week and it seems like a good time to buy low on him from an ownership perspective where the field was just burned and we’re seeing 5% ownership projections this week.  Sanu is gone so the MS of targets should be further condensed between Julio/Ridley/Hooper.  My key to this stack is getting as many different combos of these pass-catchers with Ryan this week who I think will bounce back.

The total on this game is huge and the Falcons are projected to be coming from behind, at home, in the dome… this seems like a spot where Matt Ryan is a lock for 300 yards and 3 TDs.  I’m going to have a TON of ownership.

Low Tier: Derek Carr ($5000 – DK )
–  Carr is an off the board play that projects really well from a value perspective and not so much an upside standpoint.  With that being said, a matchup with the Texans secondary could open some things up and Vegas seems to think that the Raiders will be involved in the scoring here with a 51.5 implied over/under on the game.  This is an extremely cheap stack you can get exposure to with Carr-Jones-Waller.

This could be a spot similar to Brissett last week where Waller = TY and Jones = Ebron.  Nobody is going to play these guys but Houston recently made Jacoby Brissett look like his old teammate, Tom Brady.  This feels like a game Carr should be able to perform.

Deep Sleeper: Ryan Tannehill

Running Backs:

High Tier:  Leonard Fournette  ($7,800 – DK ) –  Fournette is going to see the touchdowns come his way and I am not going to be the slightest surprised when it all comes in the same game.  I’m not missing that and I am staying on the Fournette train given the insane volume he sees on a weekly basis.  He’s projecting lower ownership than basically all of the RBs in this tier which I think could be a major mistake.  He doesn’t break the bank at this price tag either which is what it’ll take if you want Saquon or McCaffery this week.

Mid-Tier: Sony Michel ($5,200 – DK ) –  Patriots running backs seem to be the nuts for me and I’m going to be basically all-in on either Michel or White in all of my lineups.  The Patriots are supposed to win this game by almost two touchdowns and people are nervous about playing the running backs for this team due to the fact that they often get vultured at the goal-line.

I’d feel like a major fish if I was factoring that into my projections and lineup builds.  Lock in Michel as a fantastic value play this week with upside for 2-3 TDs.

Low Tier: James White ($5,100 – DK )-   With White’s involvement in the pass game for the Patriots, the way he hits his ceiling is if this game remains competitive which I am cautiously optimistic could happen with an underrated Browns team (hard to believe I’m calling the Browns underrated halfway through the season with all the hype they had going into the offseason).  I will have a rule to make sure I don’t have any lineups with Michel or White, but one of these guys are going to break the slate.

Deep Sleeper: Derrick Henry

WIDE RECEIVER:

High Tier: TY Hilton ($6,200 – DK ) –  TY hit paydirt last week with a TD but we really haven’t gotten that 150 yard 2 TD game from TY this year.  He is such a volatile with a high range of outcomes that it is always risky to play him, which is why I was pretty nervous last week with the elevated ownership levels.

This week, however, he is one of the lowest owned projected WRs in his tier while projecting as a top 3 WR value on the slate.  I may not be pairing him with Brissett again this week but I am going to have TY exposure in GPPs.

Mid Tier: Allen Robinson ($6,000 – DK ) –   People still don’t realize how good Allen Robinson is and it’s comical.  The guy is basically the only pass-catcher the Bears have and has proven to be a red-zone threat who is constantly targeted down in the red zone.  Robinson is projected to be 1% owned this week.  1%.  I think he’s one of the best plays on the board this week…. I wouldn’t be surprised to see another 2 TD game from the Penn State WR.

Low-Tier:  Kenny Stills ($4,700 DK ) –  I was all in on Stills in the off-season so not only are my best ball teams about to get a huge boost this week with Will Fuller out, but I am going to double dip and have Stills carry my DFS lineups to the top as well this week.

He’s a top-30 WR in the NFL and now gets to play with DeShaun Watson alongside DeAndre Hopkins in the Will Fuller role.  The ceiling on Stills this week well exceeds his price tag.  I want to be very over-exposed this week and don’t mind going in on the Texans stack (Watson-Hopkins-Stills).

Deep Sleeper: Golden Tate

TIGHT END:

Austin Hooper ($5,500 DK ) – You guys know how high I am on Matty Ice this week.  With everyone playing Waller, for good reason, Hooper seems like a fantastic pivot at half the ownership in arguably a better spot.  It’s tough to compete with the MS of targets that Waller is going to get but with the subtraction of Mo Sanu from the Falcons WR core, it should help him at least compete with Waller in terms of target.  NFL is an extremely volatile sport and this just seems like a fantastic leverage spot off Waller (who I will have exposure to obviously).

Deep Sleeper: TJ Hockenson

I will be giving out more of my low-owned GPP’s plays on Sunday morning where I will be hosting an Instagram live show you can find @DFS_Karma on Instagram around 11am. Make sure to stay tuned and thanks for reading! I better see ALLLL the screenshots Monday morning with all of you RAKING in the cash! LET’S GOOOOO! #MONEYTEAM
