Top Plays

Quarterbacks:

Bo Nix (ORE): DK 5,900

Another week where Bo Nix is priced below 6k, and going to be a popular play.  I personally believe that Bo Nix is a terrible real life QB, however, he does produce for us in terms of fantasy production.  He is a solid runner, and can make things happen with his legs when the pocket breaks down.  This is a soft matchup for him, and one that he and the Oregon offense should do very well in.  He had 3 rushing TD’s last week, and 222 pass yards on 18 attempts.  His price tag is going to be hard to ignore this weekend.  I would personally will stick to playing him in GPP’s and not cash, because well, at the end of the day it is still Bo Nix.

Jalon Daniels (KAN): DK 7,900

Daniels had a massive day last weekend, and will look to build on his strong start to the season.  He is a very skilled runner and does most his damage on the ground.  He had 123 yards on 10 carries with 2 touchdowns last week.  Daniels, though running the ball is his strength, is still an adequate enough passer to keep a defense honest.  I know he had a massive price hike this week, but I still feel he has plenty of upside in this matchup and at his price.

Others to consider:  D. Maye (UNC); S. Hartman (WF); R. Leonard (DUKE)

Running Backs:

Bijan Robinson (TEX):  DK 8,300

Robinson is coming into this matchup vs. Texas Tech off the heels of a massive week 3 performance.  He had 183 rush yards and 3 TD’s  on 20 carries.  This is the performances we have expected out of the Texas RB, and what I expect going forward.  Texas Tech has been stout vs. the Run this year, but have not faced a run game that is as good as Texas.  Robinson can also make some noise in the passing game.  If paying up for a RB Robinson is a great option!

Will Shipley (CLEM):  DK 6,700

Shipley has had two touchdowns in 3 straight weeks, and will look to keep that streak going this week, vs. an average at best WF defense.  I think this game has some sneaky shootout potential.  If Clemson is missing some of their key starters on defense again this week, and as long as this game stays close, Shipley should be heavily involved.  Last week was the most rush attempts he has had all year and that was only 12 carries.  His low rush attempt numbers are a product of playing in blowouts.  He is priced too low, and will be VERY popular.  Love him this week.

Others to consider:  T. Bigsby (AUB); R. Reese (BAY); M. Ibrahim (MINN); N. Singleton (PSU); L. Nichols (CMU)

Wide Receivers:

Rashee Rice (SMU):  DK 8,600

There has not been a WR in the country that has been better than Rashee Rice.  Rice has averaged 9 receptions and 160 yards per game.  He has also found the endzone 3 times.  SMU gets a very nice matchup vs. a TCU team that ranks in the bottom half in defending the pass.  This game also has a nice total on it, making both sides interesting targets tonight.  Look for Mordecai to continue force feeding his top target the ball.  I think that pairing is poised for a big weekend and they are one of my favorite QB/WR combos on the slate.

Others to consider:  D. Ollie (WSU); R. Bell (MICH); J. Downs (UNC); C. Camper (IU); X. Hutchinson (ISU)
