Top Plays

Quarterbacks:

Tanner Mordecai (SMU):  DK 8,100

Will be the chalk at the QB position, and rightfully so.  This game has a massive 72.5 total, and both teams really are horrible on the defensive side of the ball.  Mordecai is coming into this game off the heels of a 63 dk pt performance.  Look for Mordecai to absolutely torch this USF defense that is allowing nearly 300 pass yards per game.

Jayden Daniels (LSU): DK 8,500

Daniels is playing on another level right now, and should be considered one of the top QB options on this slate.  He gets a matchup vs. an Arkansas defense that has struggled to stop any opposing QB they have played.  Daniels is an elite runner, and an above average passer.  He has had 50+ dk points in 2 of his last three games, just to show you some of the upside he comes with.  I will be way over the field when it comes to Daniels and to this game overall.

Running Backs:

 Blake Corum (MICH): DK 8,300

Don’t know if you can get a much better matchup than this one vs. a Nebraska defense that is allowing nearly 200 rush yards per game.  I love both Corum an Edwards in this matchup, and would not be surprised at all if both eclipse the 100 yd rushing mark.  Corum is obviously going to get a bulk of the carries, and if he gets 20+ carries vs. this terrible defense, he could push 200 yds on the ground with multiple TD’s.  He is my top spend up at the RB position this weekend.

Tyler Lavine (SMU):  DK 3,400

DK just missed the mark here with the pricing.  Lavine should once again garner the majority of the touches out the backfield for the Mustangs.  Over the past two weeks he has ran for 218 yards on 42 carries, and has also scored 4 times.  He looks really good, and even if they have some guys return from injury, I don’t know how they go way from Lavine with the way he is running the ball.  USF allow over 200 yards per game on the ground, so it could be a great day for Lavine.  Hard to pass up at his price tag.

Others to consider:  W. Shipley (CLEM); Q. Judkins (Miss); B. Battie (USF); D. Edwards (MICH)

Wide Receivers:

Rashee Rice (SMU): DK 8,400

A little SMU theme here.  They have one of the best matchups on the entire slate, and you will want to have plenty of exposure to them on your main team.  Rice is the top target in this SMU passing game, and should be able to do whatever he wants vs a bad USF secondary.  He averages nearly 10 receptions and 100 yards per game.  SMU allow right at 290 pass yards per game, so it is hard to invision Rice, Mordecai or Lavine not getting there this weekend.  They all three will be main team plays for me this weekend.

Others to consider:  E. Egbuka (OSU); M. Harrison Jr. (OSU); C. Tillman (TENN); K. Boutte (LSU); J. Hyatt (TENN); X. Hutchinson (ISU)
