NFL DFS Week 1 – Frank’s SuperDraft picks

SuperDraft Week 1 NFL DFS is here!

Have you played any DFS contests on SuperDraft yet? I hope you like their site as much as I do. If you haven’t checked them out yet, go to (http://superdraft.io/lobby/sport/1) and use KARMA for a MASSIVE Week 1 deposit bonus! The main NFL game set gives you the perfect reason to. It might sound strange, but on SuperDraft, there is NO salary cap. You can choose ANY players you want. The trick is to use their player multipliers to your advantage. Here is my position by position breakdown with the multipliers from high to low.

If you’re not a subscriber, check out DFSKarma.com and sign up for our weekly CORE plays for SuperDraft, DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, & FantasyDraft as well as Prop plays from MonkeyKnifeFight and PrizePicks. You’ll also get access to our Discord, so click here.

Quarterbacks:

Cam Newton NE (Multiplier-2X)
should be a very popular choice due to his maximum multiplier. This might even be a pricing error, so let’s hope our contest opponents don’t scroll far enough to find him. It’s a dream home match up with Miami, who’s defense doesn’t scare anybody, and Cam should have a great chance to both pick up yardage on the ground and through the air while getting acquainted with his wide receivers

Tyrod Taylor SD (Multiplier-1.8X) is another duel running/passing threat I’m high on. The Chargers face a Bengals team that is weak defensively and should provide a few turnovers from rookie quarterback Joe Burrow, making his NFL debut. You have to ask yourself is 2 times Newton or 1.8 times Taylor more valuable than just Lamar Jackson with no multipliers. I think they are.

Also consider:
Matthew Stafford DET (Multiplier-1.6X)
Matt Ryan ATL (Multiplier-1.5X)

Running Backs:

Josh Jacobs LV (Multiplier-1.5X)
was a highly-used part of the Raider’s offense when healthy last year and comes into this game against Carolina with no restrictions. Las Vegas has an implied point total over 25 and i think Jacobs has a good chance to put up 2 scores with his polished rushing and pass catching skills.

Austin Ekeler SD (Multiplier-1.4X) is the definition of dual-threat when it comes to running backs. With not much else in the San Diego backfield in terms of competition, Ekeler will be used early and often. A stack with Taylor makes sense in a game that might be out of reach for Cincinnati by the start of the 4th quarter.

Christian McCaffrey CAR (Multiplier-1X) is a perfect flex position play because contrary to the QB position, I feel that CMC with no multiplier is as valuable if not more that 1.5 times others. His rushing and catching opportunities and abilities are greater than other running backs and is chalk I’m willing to roll with in week 1.

Also consider:
Boston Scott PHI (Multiplier-1.7X) If Miles Sanders is ruled out
Raheem Mostert SF (Multiplier-1.4X) If Tevin Coleman is ruled out

Wide Receivers:

Kendrick Bourne SF (Multiplier-2X)
is a reliable pass catcher when he sees the field and made some crucial plays last year. Due to injuries to Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, he will get a starting role in week 1 against Arizona. The 49ers have one of the highest implied point totals of almost 28 points and Bourne has a maximum multiplier! Yes please.

DeSean Jackson PHI (Multiplier-1.7X) has a history of going off in week 1, and gets a revenge date against his old team, Washington. Another team that has a slew of banged up receivers, Philadelphia should make good use of Jackson’s speed and separation ability. I think he’s a lock for at least 80 yards and a score.

Chris Godwin TB (Multiplier-1.3X) is a fantastic choice on any given NFL slate, but might see increased targets if injured Mike Evans sits out this game against New Orleans. With the Saints at home, I’m banking on them to get a lead. That should force Tom Brady to have to throw, opening the door for Godwin to shine.

Also consider:
Marvin Jones DET (Multiplier-1.8X)
Terry McLaurin WAS (Multiplier-1.55X)

Tight Ends:

Since I have always used the TE position for value to allow me to spend up for other positions in my lineup builds, I’m not going into detail here.

Darren Waller LV @ 1.3X multiplier
is my favorite but here’s a list of others that have good match ups:

Chris Herndon NYJ (Multiplier-2X)
Mike Gesicki MIA (Multiplier-1.65X)
Zach Ertz PHI (Multiplier-1.3X)

Best of luck in all your NFL DFS week 1 contests!
