NFL OwnersBox Thursday Night Football Lightning Lineups (Week 3)

Today I am jumping into a Thursday Night Lightning Lineup on OwnersBox. I am looking at three different lineups and which one I believe will put you in the green on Thursday Night Football. Lightning Lineups is a brand new awesome feature that allows you to pick one lineup to outperform two other lineups to make you money.

Lineup 1:

Chase Claypool, Nick Chubb

I think this lineup is extremely dangerous because it could go crazy or not produce at all. Chubb should have another strong game on the ground, but I don’t trust Claypool with Mitch as the quarterback. Chubb so far this season has showed why he is a top-tier running back. He has 228 yards rushing to go along with 3 touchdowns. Claypool has struggled through the first few games. He has only eight receptions for 44 yards without a touchdown. Chubb won’t be able to win this lineup by himself.  Overall I would say stay away from choosing this lineup tonight.

Lineup 2:

Najee Harris, Donovan People’s Jones

People’s Jones has not gotten going through two games of the season. He only has six receptions for 60 yards after two weeks. Harris also has struggled in having 72 rushing yards and not recording a touchdown. Both players have shown nothing to prove to me that they will outperform the other two lineups listed here tonight. Are they players due to having a bounce-back week on Thursday Night? I am not so sure and would also stay away from this lineup on OwnersBox.

Lineup 3:

Diontae Johnson, Kareem Hunt

I love lineup three to produce and put you in the green. I know the OB’s predictions don’t favor this lineup but let me tell you why that doesn’t matter. Kareem Hunt is a great threat to run and catch near the end zone. He already has a touchdown receiving and rushing this season. Hunt is a great option to outperform even his own teammate Nick Chubb because of the touchdown factor. Also, pair that up with my favorite Steeler receiver in Mr. Johnson. Through the first two weeks, Johnson leads the team in receptions and yards. Mitch targets him more than anyone else on the team. Expect the Steelers to trail where the run game won’t be as important allowing for more attempts in Johnson’s direction.

Let’s start out Week 3 of Lightning Lineups on the right foot and build positive momentum into Sunday Football.
