Jaime’s EPL Week 34 DraftKings GPP Punts and Pivots

Week 34 is going to be a very interesting week. Manchester United is the biggest favorite on the slate but they could be rotating players with a Champions league clash at the Camp Nou coming up next week. Everton is the next biggest favorite on slate at Fulham and Burnley follows at home against Cardiff. I think this could be a very good week for both cash and tournaments. Here are my favorite plays of the week.

Forward

Top: Richarlison $8,400

Richie is in a great spot going up against the worst defense in the Premier League and he could be overlooked with United being such heavy favorites. He has also not scored under 9 points in over a month and has not scored a goal in his last two starts. This could be a big game for the Brazilian and I love him for tournaments. If Lukaku $9,100 gets the start he could be a very good play and a late game hammer at home versus West Ham. Jimenez $8,900 has been great this season and he should have another good game against Southampton this week. The fact that the game is on the road is the only reason he is under Lukaku but he has scored in big games like he did a few weeks ago at Chelsea.

Mid: Chris Wood $7,700

I do not love this price range but Wood and Barnes have similar floors and Wood is the cheaper option so I would rather play him. Burnley are at home and pretty decent favorites so Wood makes for a good play. I will more than likely pay up at forward or go with the next options.

Value: Danny Ings $5,800

Ings makes for a very interesting option. Southampton is at home and last time he played against Wolves he scored 8 points without scoring a goal. I like his chances to find the back of the net here and easily reach value and should come with low ownership.

Midfielders

Top: Gylfi Sigurdsson $9,400

This seems like the easiest play of the slate. Going up against the leakiest defense in the slate and got a brace against them earlier in the year. Lock him in and move on.

.

Mid: James Ward Prowse $8,100

I believe most of the field will go Fraser $8,300 here but I would rather take the guy who also has a set piece monopoly and is playing at home.

Value: Juan Mata $3,900

This play only works if Manchester United ends up rotating their lineup and Mata starts as the main set piece taker. The only problem is that this is the late game on the slate and we do not know what United will do. The chance to get a set guy under 4k from the biggest favorite on the slate is quite tempting.

Defense

Top: Yan Valery $5,300

I have been playing Valery for weeks and I will not stop this week. It is not the greatest match up against Wolves but playing at home I still like him to have a nice game.

Mid: None

Value: Marcos Rojo $3,200

Ashley Young and Shaw will be out and Rojo could step in and play fullback at almost min price. I will more than likely pay up for Valery and punt the other defender spot with Rojo.

Goalkeeper

Lukasz Fabianski $3,800

I honestly do not love any goalkeeper on this slate so why not pay all the way down for Fabianski playing at Manchester United. I do not know who United will play but if the projected lineup is correct I can get behind paying min price for Fab and pay up elsewhere in my lineup. Fabianski can reach value by just getting a few saves and he has not had a game with a negative total this entire season. Sign me up!

As always if you have any questions feel free to send me a message on discord or on twitter. I can’t wait to see all the screenshots after we dominate this week! Enjoy the slate and make sure to tune in to our slack when lineups come out since we usually drop a play or two in there as well.
