MLB DFS 9/10/22 – Spike’s Building Blocks | DraftKings & FanDuel Picks

Welcome to our MLB DFS Building Blocks, DraftKings and FanDuel picks for 9/10/22! In this article, I’ll break down by top overall plays for today’s main slate. We have already found a lot of success to start the year off and there is plenty more to come! A big KARMA takedown is imminent and only a matter of time. I will be providing Core Plays for every main slate (and day baseball) this season — you can gain access to that as well as our premium discord here.

Pitcher

Kevin Guasman gets a solid matchup against the Rangers tonight. Guasman currently owns a 25% strikeout rate against them and he has been pitching well recently. A good bulk of this lineup also strikes out a lot which only helps his case. His hard hit rate has come down a little and sits at 39%. There are a couple of batters to worry about but overall this matchup favors him and you can use him across both sites! The next guy I will bring up is Shohei Ohtani. He has struggled a bit in his last couple of starts but overall has been having a great year. Ohtani owns a massive 35% strikeout rate against Houston overall and doesn’t give up a ton of hard contact. I expect a big bounce back game from him tonight. Hopefully others avoid him due to recent performance and we get him semi low owned. Some other guys I like at various price ranges inlcude Jack Flaherty and Triston McKenzie.

Batters

Daulton Varsho is in Coors again and this guy has been tearing it up lately! Even outside of Colorado he has had 8 hits over his last six games with six of those hits being homeruns. He actually had a grand slam last night too. He gets an elite matchup against Urena and company with a solid chance for another dinger and some hits to add onto that. He will have heavy ownership though as none of this is a big secret. TJ Friedl doesn’t have eye popping stats by any means. That being said, he has been seeing the ball very well lately with three homeruns in his last five games. Adrian Houser is one of the least scariest pitchers the Brewers have to offer and he is on the mound tonight. TJ has had over 10 FP in four of his last five games and I expect that to continue here tonight. We will also need some value with spending up on pitching.

Bold Calls

LARSTJ AND DAULTON COMBINE FOR 3 HOMERUNS!
