MLB DFS 9/11/22 – Spike’s Building Blocks | DraftKings & FanDuel Picks

Welcome to our MLB DFS Building Blocks, DraftKings and FanDuel picks for 9/11/22! In this article, I’ll break down by top overall plays for today’s main slate. We have already found a lot of success to start the year off and there is plenty more to come! A big KARMA takedown is imminent and only a matter of time. I will be providing Core Plays for every main slate (and day baseball) this season — you can gain access to that as well as our premium discord here.

Pitcher

It is opening week for NFL but we still have a big MLB slate ahead of us today! Aaron Nola is looking like an elite option this afternoon. With a matchup against the Nationals who he has a strikeout rate of 28.5%. They actually haven’t been striking out a ton lately but Nola also doesn’t give up a ton of hard contact.  Aaron also gives up a mere 3% of walks which makes him an outstanding option today. Shane Bieber and Brandon Woodruff are the next two options for me. Slightly prefer Shane with the matchup he has against Minnesota. Shane has been pitching much better this past month and the Twins have been pretty abyssmal at the same time. Buxton is still out of the lineup and that is the only heavy hitter they have who is consistent. Bieber does give up 40% of a hard contact rate but his metrics have been better than that recently. If you want to take a shot on Jesus Luzardo by all means, do it! Luzardo has been striking guys out a ton lately and the Mets are more prone to the strikeouts against lefties such as himself.

Batters

Kyle Schwarber gets a very solid matchi against Anibal Sanchez and Washington. We are talking about one of the top five power hitters in baseball here. With a hard hit rate over 54% and a xwOBA of .374 he looks to be in favorable situations all day. Riley Greene is another guy in a mouthwatering spot. Riley continues to lead off hitting and has posted atleast one hit in 10 of his last 12 games. Brady singer can be very inconsistent to where he can pitch elite or have a very rough day. Detroit and Greene have been extremely pesky all year long and I think they eventually get to him today. Not to mention the Royals have a pretty hitter friendly ballpark.

Bold Calls

SCHWARBER DOUBLE DONGS!
