MLD DFS 4/7/22 – Value Plays

Welcome to our MLB DFS Optimizer Overview, DraftKings and FanDuel picks for 4/7/22! In this article, I’ll break down the top overall value plays for today’s main slate according to out Saber Sim Optimizer. Last year was an extremely big year for the Karma team in MLB, and we are looking to continue that success in 2022. I will be providing Core Plays for every main slate this season — you can gain access to that as well as our premium discord here. You can also try out the Core Plays package with a $5 daily pass. Let’s get to the plays…

You can get access to the optimizer by clicking here!

Catcher/1B
Luke Voit $2500 (FD),
It is a clear choice on Voit. Almost min price on FD, batting cleanup. He should do well against Bumgarner and his slower fastball. I am liking a few more padres as well to go with a mini stack.

2B
Kolten Wong $2600 (FD)
Another Brewers player, but leading off and his BvP vs Hendricks is nice. I do like a Brewers stack for GPPS.

3rd base
Is kinda hard to find some nice value here. But there are a few I like.

Anthony Rendon $3200 (FD)
The optimizer loves him, as do I. 3rd highest projected 3B, and has done real well against Valdez. Had a decent spring training as well.

Edwardo Escobar $2900 (FD)
Weather should not be an issue since they moved the time for the first pitch. Hitting lower in the batting order. But fares well against lefties and a sneaky GPP play.

SS:
Dansby Swanson $3000 (FD)
Hitting 2nd. 2nd on the list for reaching value on the optimizer. Should easily hit or exceed value. Plus he isnt terrible vs righties.

Willy Adames $2900 (FD)
Another good value player who crushed it last season after joining the Brewers. I am here for a good GPP Brewers stack.

OF
Andrew Mccutchen $2500 (FD)
Another great spot for another good value play. Wind is blowing out at in Wrigley. Mccutchen has the power to get a hold of Hendricks. With his 31 home runs last season. Also had a solid spring training.

Lorenzo Cain $2100 (FD)
Hitting 8th in the order. Can hit the ball well, but the optimizer has him at the top for hitting/exceeding value.

Dylan Carlson $2900 (FD)
He is an exciting player to watch last year for the race of ROY but got edged out by India. I think he should do well and continue on from where he ended last year.
