Over Under 2/2 – Atlanta Hawks/Miami Heat
Trae Young is a player that is relatively unguardable at this point. He’s one of the premiere scorers in the NBA. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 35.8 points on 21.2 shot attempts, 10.4 three-point attempts, and 8.4 free throw attempts per game. He’s averaging 36.0 minutes per game over that span, as well. Young gets a tough matchup against the Miami Heat. They feature one of the best defenses in the NBA, but the Atlanta Hawks still possess an implied team total of 104.8 points. Young has scored 30+ points in 4 of his last 5 games, He has the potential to reach that number once again tonight.
Jimmy Butler has taken on a new role in the offense over his last four games. He has played in each of those games without Goran Dragic and his last two games without Justise Winslow. Both of those players have been ruled out tonight. In those games, Butler is averaging 27.5 points on 16.0 shot attempts, 6.0 three-point attempts, and 12.3 free throw attempts per game. He’s averaging 39.5 minutes per game over that span, as well. This is an elite matchup for Butler, as Atlanta ranks 11th in the NBA in pace and 26th in defensive rating. Butler will continue to be a focal point of the Miami offense, and he can take advantage of this matchup.
