Bales’ Bananas – Monkey Knife Fight NBA Prop Picks 3/11/19

Over Under 2/2 – Sacramento Kings/Washington Wizards

This game is going to feature a blazing pace, as the Sacramento Kings rank second in the NBA in pace, while the Washington Wizards rank eighth. Hield has featured plenty of ups and downs scoring-wise this season, but he has found plenty of success recently. Over his last 12 games, he’s averaging 23.5 points per game. He has also scored 20+ points in eight of those games, including four of his last five. Hield scored 22 points in his only matchup against Washington this season, while shooting only 28.7% from beyond the arc. He should have no issues eclipsing 20 points tonight. Tomas Satoransky has been picking his game up recently, specifically over his last six games. Over that span, he’s averaging 8.2 assists per game. He also totaled 6+ assists in five of those contests, failing to do so in a game he posted five assists in. The pace of this game will also benefit Satoransky, as he’ll have more opportunities to facilitate the ball. He recorded three assists in only 11.2 minutes in their only matchup this season, and he’s expected to see 30+ minutes tonight.

Play $50 on Buddy Hield OVER 19.5 points and Tomas Satoransky OVER 5.5 assists to win $125.50 (2.51x)

Over Under 2/2 – Sacramento Kings/Washington Wizards

As you can tell from above, I’m extremely high on the pace of this game, as it gives all players the opportunities for extra stats, regardless of whether they are points or peripherals. Bradley Beal has been featured an a massive role for the Washington Wizards offense, and he has posted 28+ points in nine of his last 11 games. Over that span, he’s averaging a healthy 30.5 points per game. Surprisingly, Beal only scored 21 points in his first matchup against the Sacramento Kings, but he shot 31.6% from the field and 27.3% from beyond the arc. I’m expecting those numbers to increase drastically for another 30+ point performance tonight. Willie Cauley-Stein comes with a bit more risk because of his inconsistent minutes, but I’m attacking this matchup. Cauley-Stein should be locked into minutes in the high-20s or low-30s with Marvin Bagley ruled out. Washington has also struggled against centers throughout the season. Furthermore, WCS is an athletic center, who should be able to keep up with the pace of this game. He recorded 11 rebounds in 32.4 minutes in their first matchup this season, and he should find similar success if he’s given the playing time tonight.

Play $50 on Bradley Beal OVER 27.5 points and Willie Cauley-Stein OVER 7.5 rebounds to win $131.50 (2.63x)

Over Under 2/2 – Oklahoma City Thunder/Utah Jazz

Paul George has been phenomenal throughout the 2018 season, although he has struggled a bit since returning from injury. He has scored 15 and 25 points in two of his three games back, but he’s likely just trying to find his groove. He gets an elite matchup against the Utah Jazz tonight, and they simply haven’t had an answer for him this season. Through three matchups, George is averaging 39.7 points per game against Utah. Even if his efficiency decreases quite drastically, he could still hit the over in this play tonight. Donovan Mitchell isn’t particularly an elite three-point shooter, but he’s shooting 42.5% from beyond the arc over the last 10 days. He’s also a volume shooter, as he has attempted eight or more three-point shots in eight of his last 10 games. Mitchell will likely take 8-10 three-point attempts in this game, making the overall relatively appealing for a player that has found quite a bit of recent success.

Play $50 on Paul George OVER 28.5 points and Donovan Mitchell OVER 2.5 three-pointers made to win $120.50 (2.41x)
