Power Play

Spencer Dinwiddie has taken on a larger offensive role with Kyrie Irving injured. He has played 33+ minutes in 3 of his last 4 games. In those games, he’s averaging 26.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.0 steal (43.5 fantasy points) in 34.7 minutes per game. He scored 40+ fantasy points in each of those games. Dinwiddie gets a plus matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who rank 24th in the NBA in defensive efficiency this season. This game should feature plenty of scoring, and Dinwiddie should continue his efficient performances from the field. This total is still a bit low, although this play can be avoided if it gets a bit higher.

Jonathan Isaac has essentially played his last two games without Nikola Vucevic in the game. In those games, he’s averaging 20.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.5 blocks, and 2.5 steals (51.2 fantasy points) in 31.2 minutes per game. Overall, Isaac scored 55.3 and 47.1 fantasy points in those games. He gets a decent matchup against the Detroit Pistons, who have struggled against bigs this season. Isaac will see extra rebound opportunities with Vucevic injured. He also boasts elite steal and block potential, adding to his upside. Isaac comes with a bit of risk because of his struggles with fouls, but he is likely to see 30+ minutes tonight, making him an outstanding option for a relatively low total for his recent production.

Play 1 unit on Spencer Dinwiddie OVER 40 fantasy points and Jonathan Isaac OVER 38.5 fantasy points to win 2.5 units (2.5x)
