Bobby’s NBA GPP Top Plays – (12/16/18)

For those of you who are itching to play NBA tonight make sure to keep your core around these top options for tonight’s slate. Let’s get into my top GPP plays for this slate.   You can access my CORE GPP Plays by signing up for an NBA package at dfskarma.com!

AS NBA is a game where last-minute real-life changes are made before tipoff, always monitor breaking news up to last second!

The plays below in this daily article are low owned pivots and GPP plays.  This means that these players will be RELATIVELY low owned and ‘contrarian’ relative to the more highly owned, chalky plays of the night.

BALL IN!

Point Guard

Top GPP Plays:

  1. De’Aaron Fox: 1/2 the ownership as Wall with the same ceiling.  He’s MY top play on the slate at PG.
  2. John Wall: Raw points on a four-game slate are huge and that’s exactly what Wall provides.
  3. Dennis Smith Jr.: Has the upside to pop off for 7-8x at this price in a fantastic pace up matchup.

Shooting Guard

Top GPP Play:

  1. Jrue Holiday: Close to a lock.  I much prefer Holiday over Wall tonight.
  2. Luka Doncic: The Mavericks players are the best plays on the slate in terms of positive matchup.  I want all the DSJ and Doncic.
  3. Dwayne Wade: Monitor his projected minutes but his usage rate is elite.

Small Forward

Top GPP Play:

  1. LeBron James: No one on this Wizards team will be able to stop LeBron.  If you’re not jamming in Wall and Holiday you need his raw point upside in your lineups.
  2. OG Anunoby: At min price on Fanduel, with his steal/block upside Anunoby provides the salary relief we need on this slate.
  3. Kawhi Leonard: The clear pivot off LeBron but I think we can get exposure to this Raptors SF matchup with OG.

Power Forward

Top GPP Play:

  1. Dwight Powell: Weakest position on the slate and I’ll be using my punt here.
  2. Markieff Morris:  He’ll need to play heavy minutes tonight to keep up with LeBron.  A Lakers blowout is the only way Morris doesn’t provide minimum 3.5x.
  3. Kuzma/Davis: They’ll both be extremely popular.

Center

Top GPP Play:

  1. DeAndre Jordan: Pair with some of the Mavericks guards and win all the money.  Jordan is the clear #1 option at center on this slate.
  2. Tyson Chandler: If you’re looking to punt at center this is where you want to go.
  3. Greg Monroe: The usage rate for Monroe is insane and will get some extended run tonight with the Valanciunus injury.
