Bobby’s NBA GPP TOP Plays (3/3/19)

With it only being a three-game slate I’m just going to have my top three GPP plays for each position with potentially a quick hit or two. My core had been on fire of late prior to the break so make sure to check that out tonight by purchasing the NBA Core Plays package at dfskarma.com/shop and asking any questions you have in Discord tonight to fill out the rest of your lineup. Make sure as usual to leverage some of my TOP GPP options with a core of chalkier plays. Let’s get into my top GPP plays for this slate.

AS NBA is a game where last-minute real-life changes are made before tipoff, always monitor breaking news up to last second!

The plays below in this daily article are low owned pivots and GPP plays. This means that these players will be RELATIVELY low owned, and ‘contrarian’ relative to the more highly owned, chalky plays of the night.  I emphasize upside/leverage over ownership, particularly in NBA DFS.

BALL IN!

Point Guard

Top GPP Plays:

  1. Russell Westbrook:  Not going to be 2% owned. Duh.  Top play at the position for me.
  2. Delon Wright: If you’re fading Dennis Schroder, Wright is a viable punt.
  3. Kyle Lowry: Interesting high upside option that will go under-owned.

Shooting Guard

Top GPP Plays:

  1. Bradley Beal: Top player on the slate at the SG position.
  2. Terrance Ferguson: Punt play that is supposed to see HEAVY minutes tonight.
  3. Bruce Brown: He’ll be 3% owned because no one knows who he is.  If he’s getting over 25 minutes tonight as most projection systems have him for.

Small Forward

Top GPP Plays:

  1. Andrew Wiggins: Outside of Wiggins, SF is clearly the position to punt your players from today.
  2. Josh Okogie: Popular punt play.
  3. Bruno Caboclo: Another popular punt play.

Power Forward

Top GPP Plays:

  1. Bobby Portis:  Potentially my favorite play on the slate. I’ve always been team free Bobby Portis.  Unleash him on this Minnesota frontcourt today.
  2. Kevin Love: Averaging 1.57 FP/min since coming back.  Could be worth paying up for.
  3. Blake Griffin: PF/C is stacked for sure.  If fading Westbrook for whatever reason, load up here.

Center

Top GPP Plays:

  1. Marc Gasol: He’s actually producing at a higher fantasy rate than when he was on the Grizzlies.  He’s way too cheap right now.
  2. Karl-Anthony Towns: The position to save your salary for.  So many studs.
  3. Jonas Valanciunas: If you’re looking to get weird.  He has a 50+ DK point ceiling.  Only 7k.

I’ll also pop into discord closer to lock to give some more in-depth insight.  As always pay close attention to my core if you’re a core-plays subscriber as that is where my head is mainly at.
