I doubt we’re going to have much if any coming out for today’s 3 game NBA slate that locks at 3:30 on Draftkings so I’ll just be listing my top plays at each position with a little snip-bit here and there whether they’re a cash/safe or GPP/risky play. The plays below in this daily article are low owned pivots and GPP plays. This means that these players will be RELATIVELY low owned, and ‘contrarian’ relative to the more highly owned, chalky plays of the night. I emphasize upside/leverage over ownership, particularly in NBA DFS.
BALL IN!
Point Guard
- Patrick Beverly – The ‘safe’ chalk
- Lou Williams – The ‘volatile/upside’ chalk
- Jamal Murray – My personal favorite PG option
Shooting Guard
- DeMar DeRozan – The likely chalk but my favorite option at the position
- Evan Fournier – Will be chalky (10-20%) but don’t love the 5.8k price tag
- Allonzo Trier – Low owned option that could win you a GPP
Small Forward
- Aaron Gordon – This price range is congested but I’m holding Gordon over everyone
- Danilo Gallinari – Obvious pivot
Power Forward
- LaMarcus Aldridge – Chalkiest player on the slate
- Noah Vonleh – Chalk but risky with Fizdale’s rotations. If he plays 22+ he’ll hit/crush value
Center
- Nikola Jokic – My favorite play of the slate
- Luke Kornet – I ride the Kornet train and he gives you some salary relief which we desperately need. Unforuntlaey we’re getting it all from the Knicks
- Mitchell Robinson – More Knicks salary relief. Very high upside with minutes on the rise.
