Guards

Bo Hodges (Butler) vs. DePaul

Bo Hodges finally overcame some academic issues that made him ineligible through the first half of Butler’s season. He is now eligible and has played in Butler’s last two games.  In those contest he has looked really strong and has put up two good performances.  Over his first two games, he has 26 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assist.  He will now face a very weak DePaul defense, and has a great chance to build off of two good games.  He should have no problem scoring in this game, and with his ability to rack up both rebounds and assist, he has a very nice ceiling, along with a safe floor.

Ochai Agbaji (Kansas) vs. West Virginia

Agbaji and the Jayhawks will be taking on West Virginia in what should be a very competitive and hard fought game.  Agbaji has a 24% usage rate as well as a 25% shot rate on the season.  He is one of the most consistent offensive weapons for this Kansas team.  He will need to be a big time threat in this game if Kansas wants to complete the sweep of the Mountaineers this year.  In their last meeting vs. WVU, Agbaji had 11 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assist.  He is a very solid cash game play this weekend at his $6,300 price tag.

Greg Brown (Texas) vs. Oklahoma State

I am not real sure what DraftKings was thinking when they priced Greg Brown for this weekend, but I believe they really messed this one up.  Greg Brown is coming in cheaper than Jericho Sims.  I cannot remember the last time Brown was listed below 6k, but I will be taking advantage of this in my main lineup.  He may find his way into the majority of my lineups.  Texas will be taking on Oklahoma State, a team that is ranked in the top 75 in the nation in tempo, and also ranked inside the top 50 in defensive efficiency.  This matchup is not a cake walk by any means, but Brown has already demolished this OK State team this year to a tune of 24 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocks.  All of this in only 26 minutes of action.  He is the best value and overall play on this slate for me and will be locked into my lineups.

Keve Aluma (Virginia Tech) vs. Miami

Keve Aluma is the price king of this slate…. who ever would have thought we would be saying this?  But, here we are.  Aluma has really thrived with the increased usage and rebounding opportunities with Radford out of the mix.  He has put up back to back 50+ DK point performances and is looking to make it 3 in a row.  He is in the right matchup to do just that.  Miami allow opposing teams to shoot over 50% from the field, and are a very poor rebounding team, something that opposing bigs have been able to take advantage of all year long.  With Miami allowing teams to grab a high number of offensive rebounds, look for Aluma to get some easy put backs in this game.  This slate is full of value plays, so fitting in Aluma should be no problem at all.  He will more than likely make my main build, but will look to fade him in large field gpps.
