Guards

Cade Cunningham (Oklahoma State) vs. Oklahoma

Cunningham, the future 1st pick in the NBA draft, is coming into this game vs. Oklahoma off of a massive 60+ DK point performance vs Oklahoma this weekend. He sports a 29% usage rate and a 28% shot rate. Oklahoma State will look to push the pace in this one. Oklahoma allow teams to shoot nearly 36% from deep this year, which plays nicely into one of Cunningham’s strengths, who shoots the 3 ball at a 43% mark. This is a small slate, and I really don’t know how you get out of rostering Cunningham.  He has such a massive ceiling, and will carry huge ownership.

Bennedict Mathurin (Arizona) vs. Oregon

Mathurin has played 34 and 37 minutes in each of his last two games. In his most recent game he had 10 points and 13 rebounds. He is one of the most efficient offensive players on this Arizona team, and has taken on a much larger workload in this offense as of late. Neither Oregon or Arizona are fast paced teams, but Mathurin is priced at a point where he only needs around 24 DK points to hit value. I believe he gets there tonight.

Forwards

Armando Bacot (UNC) vs. Syracuse

I am going to keep targeting bigs vs. this Syracuse zone defense. Syracuse really struggle to defend the glass and defend the paint. Bacot is very frustrating at times because he gets himself in such early foul trouble that he really only sees significant minutes in the second half. With that said, he should have plenty of room to work in the middle of this zone where fouling should not be much of an issue.  I expect to see Bacot get more than 25 minutes tonight, and if that is what happens, he will smash his 5k price tag.

Quincy Guerrier (Syracuse) vs. UNC

On the other side of this matchup is Guerrier. Guerrier is logging heavy minutes for this Syracuse team, as he is really the only post presence they have. UNC will have tons of bigs to throw at him, so that is concerning. However, in their last matchup Quincy had 23 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks. He was very active on both ends of the court, and should be in store for another heavy workload tonight. If he can avoid foul trouble tonight, he should have no issue hitting value at his sub-7k price tag.
