Play of the Day

Andre Drummond UNDER 49.2 Fantasy Points: This was a tough choice because he is in such a good matchup but this total just seems way too high. With all the injuries to the Lakers Detroit should make short work to the Lakers in an early blowout. If hes able to get 15/15 which totals 33 or even a 20/20 which totals 44 the make or break will most likely be from the defensive end because he’s capable of high B/S numbers. As long as he isn’t getting one of his great B/S type games then this play will be totally fine. With Reggie Jackson questionable this play does scare me a little because he does receive a 3.5 fantasy point per 36 minutes bump, but if Jackson does play I like the under a lot. We could see a quick blowout with Drum having a great first half then disappearing in the second. I’ve been noticing players are over projected due to being a great matchup and players hating go under for this reason. Our Data Dashboard at karma has him projected at 48.45 which is a close call but that’s with his projected minutes so high. This play is based off a 12 point spread and potential blowout with the lack of depth on the Lakers roster, the bench for detriot could play a big role in tonight’s game.

He has one game against the Lakers this season where he posted 6/16/1/3/2 with 3 turnovers: totaling 41.7 fantasy points. It was his second lowest scoring game for him this season but made up for it on the defensive end.
