Joey’s Prizepicks Palooza Thursday 10/24

Welcome back DFS grinders!  Let me just start off by saying welcome welcome if you are new to the article and Karma. If you are a Showdown Throwdown reader or you are coming back from last year I thank you for the continued support it means a lot to me.

We have early season NBA so always start slow with your Bankroll don’t go all-in on the first week because rotations aren’t always known with every team. You can compare it to preseason and coach talk but it doesn’t always translate until we know for certain. If you play $100 per prop I would tone it down to $50 just for the first week. That being said let’s get right into it.

Favorite Play

Favorite play is 1-1 this season.

Andre Drummond OVER 52.0 fantasy points: I’m going to go right back to Drummond who is coming off an amazing 30/20 game with over 80 fantasy points. I said in yesterday’s article he had 20/20 potential with B/S upside but I didn’t think he would hit his ceiling. Now he gets to play against the Hawks in a pace up spot and a team who has been horrible vs centers for as long as I have been playing DFS. The Hawks decided to upgrade Len to a full time start after getting rid of Dedman which just means Drummond will get to the free throw line a bunch and get Len into foul trouble 5 minutes into the game. I have no issue going right back to Drummond again here in an even better spot than last night.

Favorite Pairing

We have a lot of stars on such a small slate tonight: Kawhi, Giannis, Russ, Harden, Curry. There are a couple of guys I’m contemplating as my top pairing to go along with Drummond.

Steph Curry OVER 48 fantasy points: Curry is basically alone now with Durant Cousins and Klay either hurt or not with the team anymore. So it is going to be up to Curry to put up big numbers as he normally does with them. Curry is holding a 41% usage rate and 64 fantasy points per 36 minutes with Durant, Cousins, and Klay off the court and Green on the court, per Rotogrinder courtIQ. What does this mean? It means Curry is going to dominate. You might ask yourself, but what about with Dlo playing? Yes, Dlo will cause Curry not to have that 64 fantasy points per 36 minutes but that’s 16 fantasy points of wiggle room plus factoring in Kerr’s comment about Steph curry’s playing time “48 minutes a game for all 82”. Obviously that would be impossible especially with Curry’s injury history but we should see Curry playing 40+ minutes a majority of games this season.

Remember Prizepicks allows you to play multiple sports all in one prop. You can pair these plays with your favorite NFL plays for even more of a payout!!
