Thoughts:

We have a very interesting slate tonight! Not a lot of value at the moment, but I say that every week and then something opens up.

My current favorite build is more of a balanced approach. There are a lot of options in the mid-tier today in fantastic spots. We currently have 4 games with a total above 230.

Let’s go position by position today.

Guard is loaded. We have Damian Lillard up top as my favorite spend up option at the guard position. James Harden will be a contrarian option today, but he could explode here versus a bad Detroit team as long as the game stays close, if playing Harden I would have a Pistons player on the other side. A little bit cheaper but priced up relative to what we have seen this season is Kyle Lowry, Lowry will benefit from the continued absence of OG, FVV, and Siakam. The two guys in the mid-rang that I am looking at are Ricky Rubio and Anthony Edwards. I want to attack these Minnesota guards while they are thin.

At forward today, I want to be invested in Robert Covington. These are the type of up and down games we like to target Covington in. Normal Powell is in the same situation as Lowry, he benefits from the other missing pieces. John Collins is a player that I love today. Collins has been in trade rumors recently so he has an incentive to perform and earn that massive contract this offseason. This is a great matchup for Collins to play some small-ball 5. Obviously Giannis is a fantastic play, the Wizards have nothing on defense that can slow him down. Giannis should be able to get whatever he wants tonight. If this game stays close, you will want him in your lineups.

The center position is interesting today. Chris Boucher and Aaron Baynes are two of the better values on today’s slate. I don’t love playing them together personally in a GPP lineup. Richaun Holmes in a matchup versus the Hawks should thrive! I like attacking the mid-range and Holmes is one of those pieces. As always, when Jokic is on the slate he must be mentioned. Jokic came through in a big way last night for us at DFSKarma! If Jokic is going to be low-owned, I will be going back to him.
