NBA DFS 1/11/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Wednesday night…

Players Listed As Questionable

We have a nice eight game slate on Wednesday with a TON of injury news. It’s 100% going to get crazy today. I’ve done my best to highlight the big ones for tonight, but be sure to get in the discord + check out my article later in the day where I go more in depth.

Kristaps Porzingis + Daniel Gafford

These ones are pretty big – with Corey Kispert listed Q as well. The big winners here would be Kuzma who would be tough to avoid in all formats + Deni Avdija who would likely start. Will Barton would get a boost if all three miss – but Kuzma/Avdija would be the main DFS targets.

DeAndre Ayton + Landry Shamet

Both these guys missed last night – but I’m thinking both of them will play tonight. Regardless, both Chris Paul and Devin Booker are still out making both these guys + Duane Washington strong plays in all formats. If Ayton misses, both Biyombo and Landale will split the center minutes.

DeMar DeRozan

He didn’t go through shootaround so I’m going to assume he is pretty much out tonight. Huge bumps for Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic + whoever starts in his place is in play for value. Bulls will be a big DFS target if he’s confirmed out.

Anthony Edwards

Bump to all the other starting players on the Wolves + look for Austin Rivers to start.

Jalen Duren + Isaiah Stewart + Bojan Bogdanovic

All these guys missed last nights game – if Stewart and Duren both miss again look for Nerlens Noel to start. Diallo and Bey would be the winners if Bogdanovic misses again. If Stewart is in and Duren is out he is a strong mid-tier play.

RJ Barrett

Would hurt Julius Randle who has been a DFS monster in his absence and would send Quickley to the bench.

Keldon Johnson

Keita Bates-Diop will once again start in his place and that would make Tre Jones and Jakob Poeltl strong plays in all formats.

Marcus Smart + Rob Williams

Malcolm Brogdon and Derrick White get boosts with no Smart, while Al Horford would get a minutes boost with no Time Lord.
