Building Blocks

Christian Wood

Luka has already been ruled out so this is a pretty obvious play. The Thunder really don’t have a big man who can guard him though. I expect Wood to get fed all night long as he should dominate the paint and he also has a solid three point to shot to go with it.  Expect his ownership to be pretty high given Luka’s absence but it is well warranted here. I will keep it to one Maverick but that being said, Dinwiddie and Hardaway Jr are great plays as well. You could even use some of the others as deeper darts with big upside.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

We should have plenty of money to spend up with tonight with the vast amonut of value that we have and what will continue to open up. SGA should feast without Luka in play. Not that Doncic is an elite defender by any means but he his pesky. He has always been an elite scorer and I expect him to push the pace here in what should be a tight game all the way through. Earlier this year he dropped 55.5 FP against them in a game with a total over 234. We also all know SGA has 80 FP upside at a 10k price tag which is great value. I don’t expect his ownership to be super high which should give us some leverage here as well.

Value Plays

Duane Washington Jr

Phoenix is already without Booker but CP3 has also been ruled out now as well. This will make them very thin at guard with Cameron Payne already out too. Washington should see massive minutes regardless of a blowout or not and is damn near minimum price across all platforms. Lock him in and it allows you to spend up elsewhere in your roster configuration.

Landry Shamet

Like I said earlier, Phoenix is super thin at the guard position. I don’t think most will be jamming in Washington and Shamet so this could be some cheap leverage here with high upside if you don’t want to play Washington (who should be higher owned). We have him projected for 30 FP with upside for 45. I love those kind of numbers and once again it allows us to spend up elsewhere in what should be a very stars and scrub lineup kind of night.
