NBA DFS 11/10/22 – Ben’s Building Blocks

What’s up everyone and welcome to Ben’s Building Blocks! If you’ve never read my content before, welcome. To those that have, welcome back. I truly appreciate everyone that reads and supports during NBA season. This article is designed for me to highlight the top plays of the day. Obviously, things can change rapidly in the NBA with injury news close to lock, so I would be sure to subscribe to our premium package for access to our Final Thoughts cheat sheet, our premium discord channel and my core plays. Our Core Plays product gives you the ability to tail all of our analysts in your contests each night. We do the work for you, and you simply plug and play with our premium Core Plays. With that being said, let’s hop into the plays…

Building Blocks

Spencer Dinwiddie

Dinwiddie hasn’t been super consistent this season, but he’s checking in as a top play on today’s small four game slate. Despite the lack of consistency, he’s still posted 35+ DK points in three of his last four games and draws a strong match-up the Washington Wizards. He ranks second on the Mavs this season in usage rate and checks in as a top-ten overall value on this slate in our Projections Portal. He’s viable in all formats.

De’Anthony Melton

This is a play I feel much better about for cash games than tournaments. He’s priced way up to $6,000 on DraftKings, but we once again have him projected for nearly 35 minutes of action tonight. He’s been churning out fantasy point per minute performances without James Harden — but is also pretty reliant on good shooting. If you catch him on the night his shot isn’t falling, it’s rare that he’s going to pick up a ton of the slack with his peripheral stats. Regardless, he probably has the better spot against Trae Young defense and he is a strong cash game play on both sites tonight.

Value Plays

Justise Winslow

The slate took a major turn on Thursday afternoon when Damian Lillard was ruled out, while Jerami Grant and Jusuf Nurkic are listed as questionable to play. This will push a mid-20’s minutes projection onto Winslow along with a slight increase in per minute production. This is another guy that I am 100% fine fading in tournaments, but he’s so cheap that he will be tough to avoid in cash game and single entry builds on Thursday night.

OwnersBox Play

If you’ve never checked out OwnersBox Fantasy — CLICK HERE and use Promo Code KARMA for a 100% deposit match up to $500 along with a free $10 DFS contest entry. The great thing about OwnersBox is the super-flex format and it allows for some really unique builds without having to force certain positions into your lineups.

Kelly Oubre

I think this is a great spot for Oubre, who I think could get a bit overlooked on some of the other sites with this Blazers news opening some stuff up. It’s obviously a tougher defensive match-up, but his numbers are very strong this season and the Hornets are still missing some key players. He ranks second on the team in usage rate this season, but that number jumps to first when you take Gordon Hayward and Cody Martin off the floor. He isn’t shy about shooting the ball, and I think he’s a great play in all formats at his price.
