NBA DFS 11/20/22 – Spike’s Building Blocks

What’s up everyone and welcome to Spike’s Building Blocks! If you’ve never read my content before, welcome. To those that have, welcome back. I truly appreciate everyone that reads and supports during NBA season. This article is designed for me to highlight the top plays of the day. Obviously, things can change rapidly in the NBA with injury news close to lock, so I would be sure to subscribe to our premium package for access to our Final Thoughts cheat sheet, our premium discord channel and my core plays. Our Core Plays product gives you the ability to tail all of our analysts in your contests each night. We do the work for you, and you simply plug and play with our premium Core Plays. With that being said, let’s hop into the plays…

Building Blocks

Tyus Jones

The NBA is one of those DFS sports where you have to play some of the chalk. With Ja Morant ruled out, Jones is nearly a lock! Expect him to see 30-35 minutes tonight and to the main ball handler when on the court. Without Ja on the court he averages over 1 FPPM and is still priced under 6k. Tyus ranks as the best value on the slate for good reason. The Nets get Kyrie back tonight but it shouldn;t affect Jones too much as they’re still terrible against guards this year. Viable in all contests and projects to hit 7x value but has a ceiling to go much higher.

De’Aaron Fox

TI have zero issues using Curry or Luka as they are elite plays but Fox is in a fantastic spot tonight. He usually puts up big numbers against Detroit and they’re without Cade for a while. De’Aaron has really stepped up his game with scoring and with grabbing assists. Projected for lower ownership as well given the value we have it makes it more likely everyone spends all the way up on their other guard spot. I think you can spend up elsewhere and gain big leverage here.

Value Plays

Jarrett Allen

Allen is simply priced too low here. Now, he hasn’t really been playing great by any means but he still has doulbe-double upside in any matchup. Bam is questionable for the game ad if he sits Jarrett could have a massive night. Allen is projecting as the second best value on the slate so far and it is no secret as he is projected for around 20% ownership.

Killian Hayes

I touched on it above as Cade is expected to miss a good amount of time. Hayes won’t be priced this low in a week and has plenty of upside. Detroit has gone to him over Joseph lately and I expect him to start tonight priced under 5k on DraftKings. Killian had 40 FP in his last outing against a poor defensive team in the Lakers. The Kings are not much better in that aspect and the most times down the court the ball should start with Hayes.

OwnersBox Play

If you’ve never checked out OwnersBox Fantasy — CLICK HERE and use Promo Code KARMA for a 100% deposit match up to $500 along with a free $10 DFS contest entry. The great thing about OwnersBox is the super-flex format and it allows for some really unique builds without having to force certain positions into your lineups.

John KONCHARRR

This man literally won me thousands last year. Without Ja or Desmond Bane tonight, there is a lot of usage to spread around. Konchar is someone who can congtribute in most categories of the game and is only 4.2K on Owners Box. Porjected for around 27 FP’s is more than enough value to use him. I don’t expect his ownership to get too high as he is more of an afterthought to most DFS players. Brooklyn again, is bad defensively and I could really see them finding John often and he could even start!
