NBA DFS 12/1/19- Sriracha’s Building Blocks

Core Plays

Fred VanVleet- FVV has been playing stellar and has been taking advantage of his opportunities without Lowry, and it seems like Lowry is about to return soon, however not today vs the Jazz. FVV has played upwards of 36 minutes and eclipsed 40 in a couple games as well. The Jazz are good vs guards but this slate isn’t pretty in general. Therefore, I will take the guaranteed minutes and usage here with FVV.

Small slate, I don’t feel comfortable locking anyone in necessarily as I will be treating this like a GPP only slate. However, I would like to mention Paul George as a potential core play.

Value Plays

Ish Smith-

Ish Smith has been the product of blowouts recently, and he has also not let us down since CJ Miles is still out. He is counted on for PG duties off the bench but lately has been looked at as someone who is able to produce off the bench. With CJ out, he has averaged 25.5 minutes off the bench and has even beat IT out for minutes. Tonight he is going to be against the Clippers which might also be another blowout, paving the way for Ish to produce once again.

Orlando Magic- Fultz, Fournier, Ross, Isaac I love this Magic team today for value, they face GS who rank bottom in the league in many categories, and the Magic look to take advantage of it tonight. I love Fultz and would probably consider having him in majority of my lineups- and Ross could get more minutes tonight without Aminu.

Tournament Plays

Aaron Gordon-

With news that Aminu will be our for tonight’s game, I believe that Aaron Gordon might see a few extra minutes. I already liked AG due to his price and matchup, but he might have to play a little extra due to the recent injury to Aminu. The Warriors are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA, and Orlando gets a huge bump since Vuc is still out for them. The thought was that Gordon was to be limited in his first game back, but ended up playing 31 minutes which signals that he is ready to play big minutes again. In a pace up spot at home, Gordon has a great opportunity to go nuts.

Spellman/Chriss- With news that Draymond will be limited to about 27 minutes a game, this opens up 20+ mins for each Chriss and Spellman. Both are good FPPM guys, and have slate breaking ability at their price points.

*Short and ugly slate today. Apologies for not having a long write up!*
