Core Plays

Luka Doncic- 

There are only a few studs on this slate and one of them is Luka. Surprisingly the Warriors have been on a nice little winning streak and have won 4 straight. Luka is still below 11k on FanDuel and is definitely worth the salary tonight. Point guard is loaded but Luka is one of the top spend ups for me.

James Harden –

Harden is another pay up stud that we have to consider tonight. It’s so easy to fit the both of these guys in with the amount of value we have tonight. Harden has never gone off for me so just a little warning. But it’s BKN- he should have all the chances for another 50+ game as long as Russ doesn’t ball hog.

Value Plays

Cory Joseph- 

Cory Joseph will start for Fox and is near minimum price. A matchup with PHX is amazing and the pace of this game will lead Joseph to value easily. Don’t think about it and just lock him in!

Ersan Ilyasova

This play doesn’t really need much explanation… they are on a B2b which never boded well, but the boost without Bledsoe and Giannis is too high to ignore. Yesterday he grabbed 17 rebounds against a weak Atlanta defense. Today he will be going against another weak interior defense in Orlando, which he could once again go off. I expect him not to grab as many boards as yesterday seeing Orlando is better than Atlanta defensively, but he should still able to produce.

Kevin Porter Jr

This man has become the biggest beneficiary of the Jordan Clarkson trade, now consistently receiving 20+ minutes and scoring over 15 in the last 2 without him. Today he’s going against a weak Minnesota defense that might be without KAT. Without Kevin Love, I can see him exceed 25 minutes as well as 25 fp. Both him and Cedi Osman are value options today, with Cedi being a little more GPP.

Richuan Holmes

Richie will be without Bagley AND Fox today, basically how the Kings were for long stretch of games that they both missed. Richie during that time gets a huge usage boost as well as rebounding boost. His minutes are more solidified and he could rack up peripheral stats instantly and has a huge ceiling (see his last couple of games). He will be going against a tough strong wall in Baynes but the Suns are on a b2b and the Kings are at home. Did someone say REVENGE ?

 

 

 

Tournament Plays

Larry Nance Jr./Cedi Osman 

Larry Nance is going to start for Love today and the price is pretty nice on both sites. He’s cheap and in a nice spot vs the Wolves. I  think he’ll get another crack at 30+ minutes tonight.

Buddy Hield

Buddy has been playing awful lately which is why I’m guessing there will be some positive regression and Buddy will be himself. With Fox being out (already mentioned) Buddy gets a huge boost already. He has been shooting the ball so awful the last couple of games but I imagine it’s because having fox come back in rotation throws him off. He’s been able to roll without Fox and had himself in the mentality where he has to attack and become the #1 option, which I believe he will tonight. He is closely priced to his teammate Bogdan Bogdanovic, but I believe he will be lower owned and score more than him tonight.
