NBA DFS 12/7/19- Sriracha’s Building Blocks

What’s up guys! We’re back with another Building Blocks article, and we’re super excited to be apart of what’s coming up at Karma. Expect more from us soon! It’s a small 4 gamer, but a good one!

Core Plays

Al Horford-

Big Al is going to be getting a huge usage increase without Embiid and JRich, and with them off the court he averages 1.3 FPPM. He’s going to likely play Center today and the Cavs are 26th in the league vs Centers. Al should be a lock in all my lineups today, especially on DK where he is C eligible.

Donovan Mitchell-

Donny is going to be the primary ball handler and heavy usage player for the Jazz today as Mike Conley is out. Mitchell has done well vs MEM this year, they play fast and are pretty awful. I like Mitchell’s price and I would either pair him with Harden or play him with value/Booker.

Value Plays

Frank Kaminsky

Frank is still mispriced for his production, and with Baynes doubtful again… he is in line for the same run he has been getting. This will be a fast paced matchup just like the Pelicans game, and his size is needed to guard Capela.

P.J. Tucker:

PJ has really been consistent this season, averaging around 25 fp per game. He sees a Suns team that can match the Rockets in pace, and there’s bound to be turnovers and missed shots in this one. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw him at the 5 a lot, which puts him in a spot to get more rebounds as well. He’s been playing mad minutes each game, and even hit 51 in the double OT a couple games ago.

Ennis/Thybulle:

It looks like this seems to be a situation of one or the other… last game it was Thybulle, few before it was Ennis… based on this match-up, I would prefer Ennis tonight. Both get a bump b/c Embiid will sit and J-Rich is still injured. Their minutes seem secure and hopefully both will receive 28+ tomorrow.

Tournament Plays

Joe Ingles-

Ingles seems to be in line for another night starting at the PG spot while at a very cheap price tag. His last game against the Lakers was a complete bust but tonight he plays against a faster paced team, definitely worse in defense, as well as another home match-up. Watching that Laker game… they were getting shut down and there were too many turnovers. Hopefully he can be on the receiving end of the turnovers and get some steals by how Memphis plays.

Cam Johnson-

Boom or Bust play here, he’s gonna either play 30 or 10 minutes, Coach Monty doesn’t really play him consistently but today vs HOU, he’ll have a good fast paced matchup to showcase himself for more minutes. He’s super tourney only.
