NBA DFS 2/11/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Saturday…

Players Listed As Questionable

Happy Saturday family!  I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Pending Trades

Today we really just have Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson, whose status is up in the air and would obviously affect the Brooklyn Nets rotation if they’re ruled in.

Joel Embiid

His chances of missing increase on a back-to-back — look for Montrezl Harrell and James Harden to be top-overall plays if he gets ruled out.

San Antonio Spurs (again)

Literally nobody played for the Spurs last night, and with them being on a B2B we will have 0 quality news updates from them until this afternoon. We could see some of the guys that missed last night suit up OR we could see them all miss again. Check back in the Building Blocks article for an update, but this could be a complete avoid or a spot where we want 3+ Spurs on our team — as of now there’s no way to know.

Luka Doncic

Sounds like he is nearing his return after Shams swung and missed on him being available to play last night. We’ve yet to see him and Kyrie Irving together, but obviously this would affect some of the supplementary guys as well. If he’s in, he’s a top play even with Kyrie there now.

LeBron James

His chances of missing tonight’s game are much lower than usual after he sat out on Thursday. I’m fully expecting him, but if he misses look for Anthony Davis to be one of the top spend-ups on the slate.

Jamal Murray + Aaron Gordon

Gordon went completely off last night, and this is actually the biggest news on the slate in my opinion with the Nuggets owning a huge 122 point team total. Bones Hyland was traded, so if one or both of these guys are out we will have some nice value in Denver.

Note: Jordan Clarkson missed last night for the Jazz due to an illness and he is also listed Q tonight as well.
