NBA DFS 2/24/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Friday…

Players Listed As Questionable

Happy Friday! We are finally back from the All-Star break and since these teams have been off for a week we don’t have a ton of Q tags to dissect this morning, instead I’ll talk about some guys that we already know will be out. I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

It seems that Giannis won’t be playing tonight, with Pat Connaughton also out. All the starters get huge boosts with Giannis off the floor — particularly Jrue Holiday. Bobby Portis is also supposed to be back tonight, and he is the most affordable option making him a top play. Overall, it’s not a great spot against Miami but there are going to be Bucks in play if Giannis is ruled out.

Brad Beal

Both Kyle Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis are both healthy and they become the top options with Beal out. Corey Kispert will likely start in his place, but with both Porzingis and Kuzma there, there’s no real bump to anyone else on a big slate.

Andrew Wiggins

Wiggins has been out due to personal reasons, so we are assuming him out tonight as well. Golden State is on a back-to-back, but Klay Thompson has actually been playing on those recently. I won’t be shocked to see guys pop up here later in the day but for now with just Wiggins out we can look at Jordan Poole and Jonathan Kuminga.

Mitch Robinson

This is a minor one, his presence hurts the ceiling of Julius Randle a bit and takes Jericho Sims out of the DFS pool.

This is pretty much all for now – I won’t be shocked to see surprise stuff pop up so stay tuned to my Building Blocks article this afternoon!
