NBA DFS 2/28/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Tuesday!

Players Listed As Questionable

Happy Tuesday! We are back to a normal NBA slate, with several guys out and quite a few big names to monitor. I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Kristaps Porzingis

Porzingis is doubtful to play tonight, which is a big boost for both Kyle Kuzma and Brad Beal. Deni Avdija will start in his place, and enter the DFS conversation as well. Both Kuzma and Beal are catching early 20% ownership projections, while Daniel Gafford will be one of the most popular mid-tier plays as well.

De’Aaron Fox

This is a big one, and will certainly flip the slate if he gets ruled out. Davion Mitchell would start in his place and become a high-owned value play along with Malik Monk — we also would see a higher ceiling on Harrison Barnes and Domantas Sabonis.

Jamal Murray

We would see a higher ceiling on Nikola Jokic if he gets ruled out — while Bruce Brown and newly acquired Reggie Jackson would soak up the point guard minutes + ball-handling duties.

D’Angelo Russell

The Lakers are already down LeBron James, and will likely be without D’Angelo Russell tonight as well. Anthony Davis is going to have to take over completely for this team — while Dennis Schroder and Jarred Vanderbilt become top mid-tier plays for DFS.

Kevin Porter Jr

Jalen Green is back for the Rockets — if Porter misses it’s going to be the Green show on Tuesday night and he will be a high-ceiling mid-tier option.

This is pretty much all for now – I won’t be shocked to see surprise stuff pop up so stay tuned to my Building Blocks article this afternoon!
