NBA DFS 2/7/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Tuesday…

Players Listed As Questionable

Happy Tuesday! We have a small six game NBA DFS slate tonight highlighted by LeBron James as he approaches history and the all-time NBA scoring record. There doesn’t seem to be much injury news to watch as of now, but things can change quickly in the NBA especially with a few teams on back-to-backs. I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Rudy Gobert

Much like LeBron James, it feels like Rudy Gobert has been listed as questionable to play for the last month. It also seemed like he had made his way back before missing a game last week. It’s the same situation every time that his status is in question – if he’s out we lock in Naz Reid in all formats and it helps Anthony Edwards become more of a top play as well.

LeBron James

LeBron is approaching history, he needs less than 40 points to break Kareem’s record but I think it’s very likely he wants to do it on Thursday night, against the Bucks, on TNT. That being said, he is always listed Q to play but there’s no reason to expect him to miss this game. If he does, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook get sizable boosts but it’s likely that James is active against OKC tonight.

RJ Barrett

This is the biggest news on the slate in my opinion because I think it’s 50/50 if he plays. If he misses, both Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson would get big boosts and be top options in all formats. We would also likely see big minutes from Immanuel Quickley who should start in place of Barrett. This will be the spot that changes the slate, because if he’s out playing 3+ Knicks is definitely a possibility.

Kyle Anderson

Jaden McDaniels and Taurean Prince would get the biggest boosts — could be a thin MIN team here if both Gobert and Anderson miss this game.
