NBA DFS 3/22/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Wednesday…

Players Listed As Questionable

Happy Wednesday! We have a loaded injury slate tonight with a ton of questionable tags. I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Dejounte Murray

Atlanta is on the tail-end of a back-to-back and Murray missed last night due to an illness. I’m not sure if he will be back for tonight’s game, but if he isn’t look for all of the Hawks to pop again. Trae Young would be a top-overall play, while Bogdan Bogdanovic, De’Andre Hunter and AJ Griffin would be in play as well.

Luka Doncic + Kyrie Irving + Tim Hardaway Jr

Irving was in a walking boot after the last game, and I have no idea what to do here. If one of Luka/Irving plays they would be a great play, but if both play then that lessens the must-play potential. If both are out we will certainly get some value here — check back later on in the day.

Kyle Kuzma

Washington is one of the few teams on a back-to-back tonight and they were without Kyle Kuzma on Tuesday. It sounds like he will be out tonight, which boost both Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis. We also will see more playing time for Deni Avdija.

Tyrese Haliburton

Haliburton has missed a few games for the Pacers, if he continues to be out tonight look for Andrew Nembhard and Benny Mathurin to be the big winners for DFS purposes.

Anthony Edwards

Edwards missed their last game, but they have listed him and Karl-Anthony Towns as questionable for tonight. It sounds like Towns will play, but Edwards I think is a true GTD. Overal, Towns coming back muddles things in the front-court — but look for Mike Conley to get a nice boost should Edwards be out again.

James Harden

This is a pretty big one, as Harden was confirmed questionable for tonight. If he’s out, look for Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey to be two of the top overall plays on the slate, with DeAnthony Melton would step into the starting lineup and he a top value play.

Scottie Barnes

If Barnes misses, all of the Raptors starters would get projection and rate increases while Gary Trent would start and be a strong mid-tier play on all sites.

Tre Jones + Jeremy Sochan + Spurs

San Antonio is a legit mystery given they are on a back-to-back. We have Jones and Sochan listed doubtful, but they were without everyone last night and as of now we don’t know who will play and who won’t. This is one spot we will have to monitor up until lock.
