Guards
Immanuel Quickley
Quickley’s seen mixed results throughout his rookie season. He’s averaging 12.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists (21.0 fantasy points) in only 19.0 minutes per game through 17 contests. Quickley’s been heating up in recent games, though, averaging a 16.7/3.2/2.3/0.7/0.2 line (26.3 fantasy points) in 21.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He’s posted 35+ fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games, as well.
Quickley gets a great matchup against the Chicago Bulls tonight. They currently rank second in the NBA in pace and 27tth in defensive efficiency this season. Chicago’s allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards, as well, according to Fantasy Pros. Furthermore, the Bulls have struggled to defend the pick-and-roll, which has led to plenty of success for Quickley this season. He’s posted a usage rating north of 28% in 10 consecutive games, topping 40% against the Portland Blazers. Quickley’s averaging 1.11 fantasy points per minute this season and gets an elite matchup for his skillset. He’ll likely feature low ownership because of his lack of minutes, but he boasts elite upside, even in 25 minutes against Chicago.
