NBA DFS – Tristan’s GPP Plays (2/4/22)

Happy Friday everyone! We have a nice big slate ahead of us, TON of news, a bunch of chalk..  This is a great time to get those low-owned punts into your lineup for tournaments. Let’s dive into some of my favorite GPP plays for tonight! Sorry for the small article today. Got caught up at work and had a ton to do so tonight’s article is just G, F, and C.

Guard

Looking at Gary Trent… ha kidding. He should be fairly chalky today. Instead I’m looking at Reggie Bullock who should have increased opportunities today with Thybulle on Doncic. Without Tim Hardaway Jr and Kristaps Porzingis in the last two games, he has shot 10 and 16 shots off the bench playing 31 and 38 minutes respectively. Now my theory is that with Thybulle on Doncic, Doncic will be forced to pass more and Bullock might be a beneficiary of those passes seeing that he has seen an increase of almost 8 shots a game as well as increased reb %. He has a ceiling of 30ish here and being 4.5k, his floor isn’t too low where it would kill you.

Bonus: Tre Mann

 Forward

Had him in my last article and he smashed, bringing him back here. Kevin Love baby…  with Darius Garland out, he seems to get increased minutes and touches. Over 6 games (dating from December) until now without Garland, he has had 45.25, 40, 39, 59.3, 43.8, 38.5 DKP which pays off his high price tag. That 59.3 sticks out to me because he shot it extremely well from the floor and from 3, which is definitely possible for him with his consistent volume of shots. His peripherals are never to be worried about because he racks up rebounds fast. Another great match-up vs the Hornets who are terrible inside and have a t10 pace in the league atm. Kevin Love also shot 20 shots last game and made 1/7 3s, something he usually hits at least 30-40% of.

Bonus: Evan Mobley

Center

Jusuf Nurkic might be a bit popular tonight but with other C plays as well, he shouldn’t be like CHALK OF THE CHALK so I’m adding him here with the recent news of Norman Powell and Robert Covington being traded. Without Norman Powell, Nurkic saw an uptick in usage and reb %, in a decent match-up against OKC who they just played but LOST at OKC’s homecourt. They will now be in Portland and will have something to play for IMO… to show that they are worth investing in (though they keep getting pooped on in the playoffs).
