  • Hello everybody and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article! Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article here! This is a massive 10 game slate filled with a ton of great competitive games. There’s a lot to digest here but I’m just going to try to keep it as simple as possible. *As I was writing this, Blazers v Grizzlies got PPD. So bare with me as I have to rewrite everything.
  • The Blazers and Grizzlies game was supposed to be the chalkiest game of the night, and now that it is PPD, it makes tonight’s slate extremely interesting. The game I will be shifting my attention to immediately is the GS v SA game. I will be pivoting my Damian Lillard shares to Steph Curry. Curry thrives whenever I play him, he’s helped me take down 2 GPPs this season already, and I’m going right back to him tonight in a great matchup. The Spurs have changed up their pace this season and if Wiggins is also out, Steph Curry, Kelly Oubre, and Draymond Green will all get MAJOR boosts and will be in my lineups. On the Spurs side, I only like Murray and Aldridge. Favor the GS side here.
  • The other game I love for all formats is the HOU v PHX game. I love the Houston side, as John Wall is out. Victor Oladipo looked great in his debut, and I do like him again tonight but I expect Mikal Bridges to clamp him down tonight. The Suns are legit and their perimeter defense is one of the best in the NBA, they have some great lanky wings and that’ll make it tough for Oladipo to get it going- so I expect Eric Gordon to take a ton of shots, and Christian Wood should chuck up a ton of shots. On the PHX side, Chris Paul has found his way into a lot of my early builds today. I love this spot for him. Ayton is in a nice spot as well, for tournaments only though.
  • There are a ton of plays that come from this Orlando v Minnesota game as well. With Rubio, Juancho Hernangomez and Towns out, I expect D’Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, Anthony Edwards, and Naz Reid to pick up a ton of run. Russell has looked great as of late and actually interested in the game. He’s chucking up 20+ shots and playing the PG role. I want Edwards to hit some shots, because boy oh boy he struggles from the field. He should pick up 25+ minutes of run but this isn’t the best matchup for him. Vanderbilt should start again today for Juancho and hopefully he’ll see another 25+ minutes of run. He’s not a bad low/mid PF.
  • My core for cash games will be Chris Paul, Eric Gordon, DeAndre Jordan (FD), Nikola Vucevic (DK)
  • For tournaments, I like the core of Anthony Edwards, Derrick Rose (DK), Kelly Oubre Jr., James Johnson (FD)
    • Notes:
    • Deandre Jordan is way too cheap on FD… Need his size today too. Could get in foul trouble but 25 is very doable.
    • Kyrie/Harden/KD… that’s crazy.
    • Kristaps Porzingis… 🙂
    • Cam Reddish news is important
