Updates to come to this section as we approach lock, so continue to check back for more insight.

Hello everybody and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article! Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article here! This is a small 4 game slate, I did do a First Impression video on YouTube which you can find here by clicking on the link. With that being said, I’m gonna keep this one short and sweet.

  • The biggest news of the day is that Anthony Davis is OUT with a quad injury. I called that in the video, if you didn’t watch, you should!! That opens up usage for LeBron James (if he plays), Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, and Dennis Schroder. I think you have to lock in Lebron if he plays here in cash games. He will have all the usage and will be the #1 guy like always. However, I can see the fade in tournaments as in the two appearances without Davis, Lebron has had subpar performances. In addition, he also is on the second end of a back to back, and he tied his season high in minutes yesterday in a hard fought game vs the 76ers. Kuzma is projected to get the start and he has been very productive with Davis out of the lineup, or as a starter in general.
  • Now I’m going to be going over some other injuries we are dealing with today- Devin Booker and Cameron Payne are OUT for the Suns. They are on a back to back- so be on the lookout for news. Chris Paul, Mikal Bridges, DeAndre Ayton, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, are all in play here for the Suns, and they have a great matchup vs the inconsistent Warriors. Again, make sure to pay attention to the news here. There is potential Paul could rest, however I don’t see it happening. I do like Steph, Draymond, Wiggins and Oubre for the Warriors.
  • For the Blazers, they are without CJ McCollum, Jusuf Nurkic and Robert Covington. Rodney Hood is PROBABLE. This should be another great spot for Damian Lillard and Carmelo Anthony. I love these guys as core pieces today and I will even have a good amount of Enes Kanter- just don’t be surprised if he doesn’t rack up a ton of rebounds because Wood will stretch him out to the three point line today.
  • For the Clippers, Paul George, Pat Beverley, and Kawhi Leonard are all OUT. This opens up usage for Reggie Jackson who had a crazy performance vs the Hawks, Lou Williams who has been horrid this year, but is a great tournament play, Serge Ibaka, and Nicolas Batum. For more in depth analysis of these players make sure to check out the video !
    • Notes:
    • Do we need Bam/Wood today? There are a ton of value PFs.
    • Will Wiseman shine again? Bit of a tougher matchup but coming off bench can help limit foul trouble.
    • SG is super bad today. Nail the two and you’ll set yourself up for success today.  Mann is very cheap on FD
    • Deciding between Dame, Steph, CP and Reggie will be very tough today..
  • Guys who I will have exposure to today in no particular order, other than those in table above. (PLAYER POOL)

  • J. Carter
  • M. Bridges
  • J. Crowder
  • D. Green
  • D. Schroder
  • K. Caldwell Pope
  • S. Ibaka
  • M. Morris
  • T. Mann
  • J. Wall
  • J. Grant
  • N. Batum
  • M. Gasol
