Updates to come to this section as we approach lock so continue to check back for more insight.

  • Hello all and welcome back for another DFS Karma Game Theory! Now there is a lot of injury news,  which can be found by clicking the link attached. There are 11 games today which means there will be more variance. The more games there are, the more spread out the ownership percentages are for each player. Let’s dive right in.
  • This is a large 11 game slate, which is a little more than I like to be honest. We’re waiting on news on Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Christian Wood, Marcus Smart, Jeff Teague, and Evan Fournier. The biggest names here that would make significant fantasy impacts are Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. If they both sit out, Kawhi for rest and George for an ankle injury, expect big minutes from Luke Kennard, Nic Batum, Lou Williams, and Serge Ibaka. This is going to be a great matchup and a fantasy gold mine if George and Leonard sit. As of now Kawhi isn’t on the official injury report but we know how that can change at any moment. We’ll see what happens. Check back for an update later. Let’s get right into which games I’m looking into to start my lineup construction.
  • I really love this Indiana vs Houston game for fantasy purposes. I like this Indiana side in particular. They’ve been playing well and picking up the slack as they deal with TJ Warren’s absence. You have to consider Malcolm Brogdon’s price increase but cannot deny the usage here. Him, Oladipo, Sabonis and J. Holiday all will find their way into my player pool. I love this matchup for them and Sabonis should eat if Wood is ruled out as well. On the Houston side I like John Wall and Eric Gordon for tournaments. DeMarcus Cousins GPP FLIER if Wood out.
  • My core for cash games will be Otto Porter Jr., Domas Sabonis, and Clint Capela. Otto Porter should get the start again tonight and although he didn’t close the game out yesterday I still love this matchup and on FanDuel where he is more affordable he should see a good amount of ownership. Him and Kelly Oubre Jr. are similar in price and I like both. A GPP pivot would be Cedi Osman. Sabonis is in a phenomenal spot here and I think he is my TOP PF play. If Wood is out even better. He’s been struggling with foul trouble this year though. Capela has found his way into my lineups the last 3 slates and now he gets another great matchup. Lock and load for me.
  • For tournaments, I like the core of Cedi Osman, Richaun Holmes and Zion Williamson.
  • Now, I will go over my full player pool for today, below.
