Updates to come to this section as we approach lock so continue to check back for more insight.

  • Hello all and welcome to the beginning of the week, Monday! Now there is a lot of injury news but that is covered over at https://dfskarma.com/basketball/nba-injury-news-and-impact. The main pieces of news that we want to focus on are the high usage players like Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis. Let’s look to start the week off right.
  • There are a couple teams we want to target today for value due to players that were already ruled out. Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin were already ruled out tonight which gives a big bump to Killian Hayes and Delon WrightJerami Grant will also see a huge boost usage wise and I would love to have some shares of Mason Plumlee today. In terms of Wright and Hayes, choosing between them is tough but know that Delon is the more developed player and Killian is still very raw. Kevin Durant was ruled out as well as Spencer Dinwiddie and Kyrie Irving, which opens up the Nets to become more of a favorite play on tonight’s slate. I am specifically looking at Caris Levert and Joe Harris. Of course, the Rockets still have everyone out due to COVID-19 contact, so players like James Harden and Christian Wood are completely viable today as well, just in a harder matchup than before.
  • If you are on FanDuel, make sure you take a good look at Dillon Brooks at 3,700 at the SG position. This is probably the industry’s lock of the day due to the price and his production. I want to believe Fanduel mistakingly put a 3 instead of a 4 or even a 5, but… this is nothing new.
  • *Watch out for news on Lebron James… if he is ruled out today, Anthony Davis will be the focal point of tonight’s offense vs the Portland Trailblazers and should see some great usage. Other good plays include Dennis Schroder and Kyle Kuzma.
  • My core 4 for today’s slate includes: Caris Levert, Dillon Brooks (FD), James Harden, and
