Updates to come to this section as we approach lock, so continue to check back for more insight.

Hello everybody and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article! Today there are only a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article here! This is a less injury riddled slate very little injury news. Let’s get right into it!

  • Shai Gilgeous Alexander, George Hill, and Lu Dort are OUT- This means the Thunder will be severely short handed, but this is the best matchup for them to be short handed in, as they face a poor Timberwolves squad without Towns. I think that Maledon, Diallo, Bazley and Horford are going to continue to pick up the minutes and usage here, but also make sure to check on who starts between Justin Jackson and Kenrich Williams. I expect them to split the minutes here but Kenrich is a lot more productive in the minutes given compared to Justin Jackson. Jackson will probably see more minutes but in my opinion, Kenrich will outscore him.
  • Jaylen Brown is Questionable, but Kemba Walker is back. This should be a huge part of the slate because Tatum, who is already a great play, would become a near lock without Brown. Also, Walker would get a huge usage bump and with the Clippers missing Beverley to hound him on the defensive end, this could be a great game for Walker to get back on track and get his game feel back.
  • Paul George is QUESTIONABLE- *late addition to injury report with foot injury. I don’t know how to gauge this one, I think that we can say he’s truly a 50/50 to play but if he’s out, we have to lock in Kawhi, bump up Lou Williams, Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris, and Luke Kennard. Hopefully we get some clarity on these two injuries between Brown and George but since it is a late 10pm EST game, there are no guarantees.
  • Other than that, there isn’t anything that is slate changing that we are waiting on. I do like this Toronto v Brooklyn game but it is so hard to get any pieces to it. I think the only guys I can play are going to be from Toronto, and even then their prices are pretty high for my liking. High 240 O/U total here though.
  • OKC is probably the chalk of the slate, it is so hard to avoid them and they are all pretty cheap in a smash spot. If I had to choose 3 that I’m going to be playing, it is Diallo, Maledon, and Bazley.
