Updates to come to this section as we approach lock, so continue to check back for more insight.

Hello everybody, and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article. Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article. Go peep my NBA DFS First Impression Video and see my thoughts on the slate in a general sense! This is a nicely sized slate with a good bit of injury news, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled.

Point Guards: Tough spot here, not because the options are slim but more because there are a plethora of top and value tier options. On the high end side, we have De’Aaron Fox, Kyle Lowry, John Wall, and Trae Young. To be honest, I think Trae Young is probably the guy here for tournaments. He has a higher ceiling than most here, but all these PGs have 60+ upside in their respective matchups. I don’t see Wall playing nearly as many minutes as the Rockets get their reinforcements from the G-League back, but I still can see 32+ minutes. On the value tier, we have to consider Michael Carter-Williams and Elfrid Payton. They are just a tad bit under 5k and they both have similar floors and upside. Rose is out for Payton and this should thrust him into 30+ minutes. Fournier is out for MCW and this should give him a slight minutes boost along with a few extra shots. My favorite value PG is Shake Milton who will likely start with Simmons and Embiid out. Milton is an elite option for value and an elite scorer when given the usage.

Shooting Guards: James Harden, Paul George, Victor Oladipo, and  Anthony Edwards are my top SG plays on the higher end. For value, Seth Curry is my guy.

Small Forwards: Jimmy Butler, Jaylen Brown, Brandon Ingram, and Norman Powell are my top SFs. Butler gets the Magic without his teammate Bam Adebayo, however he is extremely pricey. SF is a very weak spot today. Danny Green is a nice punt play.

Power Forwards: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Tobias Harris, Chris Boucher. My top 3 PFs that will see themselves in a lot of my lineups. I think I’ll be overweight on Tobias tonight. Underpriced in a cake matchup. Jerami Grant is a fine GPP play, as is Jae’Sean Tate.

Centers: Nikola Vucevic might be a low owned GEM today. No Fournier and he doesn’t have to deal with Bam’s paint presence. I think I’ll have to have a few of him, for tournaments only. Karl-Anthony Towns is fine for GPPs. Richaun Holmes is a fine GPP dart, Kelly Olynyk is probably a top tier value play, but I have to decide between him and Dwight Howard. Key news here is if Howard starts or not.

MY CORE 3 for CASH: Tobias Harris, Shake Milton, Kyle Lowry

MY CORE 3 for GPP: De’Aaron Fox, Chris Boucher, Michael-Carter Williams

That is all for today’s article! I appreciate you guys all for reading and as always, it’s been your boy Tristan aka SrirachaDFS, and I’m out, peace!
