3 Houston vs 2 Kentucky -2

Houston and Kentucky meet up at the Sprint Center in Kansas City to fight for a spot in the Elite 8. Houston is back in the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1984. Both teams come into tonight’s game averaging over 75 points per game. Both teams have been great on defense also with Houston giving up 61 ppg, and Kentucky giving up 64.5 points. Kentucky has definitely played the tougher schedule this season and has won 19 of their past 22 games. With only losses coming at Tennessee and vs them in SEC Tournament and vs LSU by 2 points. Houston has been dominate in their first two games. They have controlled the boards out rebounding both opponents. Corey Davis Jr. leads Houston in scoring at 16.7 ppg. He scored 21 points vs Ohio State and 26 vs Georgia State. Kentucky was able to hold Wofford’s star player Fletcher Magee to 8 points on 4-17 shooting last game. Magee had averaged 23 ppg in his previous 8 games. Kentucky has been without star player PJ Washington to start the NCAA Tournament. Reid Travis has come up big averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds. Tyler Herro is also averaging over 10 points and 5+ rebounds a game. It sounds like PJ Washington will be back for this game, but will be on a minuets limit, likely around 15-18 minuets. Coach Cal will be looking to advance to his 10th Elite 8 in the past 15 years tonight.

Houston is 3-4 ATS L7 games.

Kentucky is 5-1-2 ATS L8 NCAA Tournament games
